Tough Table #426

Sadan Turker

If it's action and talent that you are after then Table #426 is the place to watch your poker. The table is splattered with a beautiful concoction of top quality pros and the biggest stacks in the room. Here are the finer points of the table.

We were watching the table for a few orbits and the player who caught our eye was Sadan Turker. Turker started the day as the chip leader but has been surpassed by quite a few people. That being said Turker still has a formidable stack and a ferocious appetite for big pots.

The name of Sadan Turker may not be a familiar name to the poker masses. The Londoner's biggest live cash to date came last year when he finished runner-up to Sean Getzwiller in the WSOP $1,000 No-Limit Hold-em bracelet event earning $377,411 in the process. Here are a few hands involving Turker.

Hand 1:

The action folded around to Sadan Turker in the small blind and he moved all-in forcing the big blind to play for his tournament life. The suspicious big blind tanked for a while before eventually folding.

Hand 2:

The action folded around to the hijack and the player moved all-in for 27,100. One fold later and Turker called on the button. The blinds folded and we had a heads up encounter with the hijack at risk of elimination.

Turker{A-Spades} {J-Hearts}
Hijack{K-Clubs} {9-Hearts}

The player in the hijack seat got to his feet and then quickly sat back down when he saw the flop - {K-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}. The turn card {A-Spades} spun the result back in favour of Turker before the {6-Diamonds} confirmed the tournament exit for the hijack.
