Folded to Ayman Qutami on the button, he raised it up. Matt Glantz called in the small blind, as did Jeff Shulman in the big blind. The {2-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} flop would see Glantz lead out and Shulman make it two bets. Qutami got out of the way and Glantz called.

An {a-Hearts} hit the turn and Glantz checked and then folded his hand as Shulman fired out a bet. As Shulman raked in that pot and we counted his chips, his father Barry Shulman could be seen peering over from the table next to him, as Barry is down to the final two tables of Event 19: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em.

Shulman Takes the Lead

Terrence Chan was in late position when he opened up the pot. Shulman was in the big blind and put in the three-bet. Chan made the call and the dealer spread out a {j-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {3-Clubs} flop. Shulman led and Chan called as a {3-Hearts} hit the turn. Shulman checked and Chan led as this time Shulman put in an extra bet. Chan made the call and a {10-Spades} fell on the river. This time Shulman would lead and then Chan would tank fold to send the pot to Shulman.

Shei Doubles

One of the first hands back from the break has seen Kenneth Shei double his stack. When we arrived at the table there was a flop showing {7-Hearts} {4-Spades} {j-Diamonds} and it was Shei in the small-blind seat and Ayman Quatmi in the big-blind seat. Shei only had a few big bets left and after check-raising and then calling a third bet from Quatmi, he was all in.

Overgard Up the River

Folded to Samuel Overgard in the cut-off seat, he held {10-Clubs} {10-Hearts} and flicked in a raise to open the pot. Samuel Golbuff held {k-Hearts} {8-Spades} in the big blind and made the call.

Flop: {k-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds}

On the flop, Golbuff checked and Overgard bet. Golbuff then check-raised and Overgard quickly made it three bets. Golbuff called and a {5-Clubs} hit the turn. Golbuff led here and Overgard committed his last 1,000 with a call.

Golbuff needed some help to stay alive here and it would come on the as a {10-Diamonds} gave him a set to take down the pot.

Prock Leaves Doug Short

Andrew Prock was in the cutoff when he raised it up. Douglas Rutherford was on the button and three-bet. A call from Prock and a {j-Spades} {j-Hearts} {3-Spades} flop was spread on the felt. Prock opted to check-call a bet here and then do the same on the {q-Spades} turn. The {7-Clubs} river would see both players check and then Rutherford mucked when Prock tabled his {7-Spades} {7-Diamonds} .
