Brutal Day Ends For Kenney

His girlfriend Ana Marquez was just eliminated by running into aces and Bryn Kenney did it the other way around. He had aces twice and lost both times knocking him out towards the end of the fourth level.

Kenny told us he first ran aces into aces for a 4,000 chip pot in which opponent made a flush. Not long after that he raised from the cutoff to 550 and the button called. The flop came down {A-}{K-}{10-} with two spades and Kenney put in a 1,050 continuation bet. His opponent called and the turn was a {5-}. Kenny put in a 2,200 bet and his opponent decided to move all in. Kenney had started the hand with 11,000 chips and made the call for his tournament life.

His top set was well in front against {5-Spades}{3-Spades} for a pair and a flush draw. Kenney could only been knocked out by a spade, and the river brought out the {9-Spades}. A short day for Kenney and Marquez who could still smile after losing a bunch of brutal hands.
