Last year the O'Dea family name was thrust back into the spotlight of world poker when Eoghan O'Dea finished in 6th place in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event for $1,720,831.
Long before little Eoghan could even say poker his father Donnacha was winning a WSOP bracelet playing Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO), Unfortunately, for O'Dea senior he will not be making it bracelet number two as he just bust a few places shy of the money.
We believe he was fairly short when he found himself all-in - and good - versus Jaspal Brar.

Brar |
So Brar needed some support (we know) and it arrived in the form of a flop. The turn and river did not contain any form of amazing comeback for O'Dea and he was out.

Austin Scott has just eliminated Scott Clements in 65th place and we are hand for hand.
We caught the action on a flop of , 12,500 in the pot and three players in the hand. Galen Kester was in the small blind and checked, a player in mid-position also checked and Chance Kornuth bet 'pot' on the button. Kester made the call, the mid-position player folded and we had a showdown with Kornuth at risk of elimination.

So Kester was ahead on the flop. The turn card was the and the river and Kornuth was eliminated in 64th position and becomes the last person to leave this tournament penniless.

We found Tex Barch with only 8,000 chips in front of him. We watched him fold a few hands before calling a 4,000 raise only to fold to the flop. He finally got his last 3,400 into the middle in a mess of a three-way flop.
Basically, Raul Paez raised, Tex Barch moved all-in as did Ilkka Heikkila (it was a 14,500 pot bet leaving 5,200 behind). Paez was weighing up his options,
"I think I will gamble," said Paez.
"I believe you," said Barch will brought laughter around the table.
"I am bluffing," said Heikkila.
Paez called and this was the state of affairs.

Robert Williamson III raised to 5,400 in early position and both Joseph Ressler (SB) and Erik Seidel (BB) called in the blinds. The action checked through to the turn on a board of when Ressler came out betting for 18,000. Williamson made the call and Seidel folded, leaving us heads-up going to fifth street. That particular card was the , Ressler bet 20,500 and Williamson made the call.
Ressler turned over for the full-house and Williamson mucked his hand.
