Adams' Call With Ace High Good

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Timothy Adams raised to 60,000 in the small blind and Brendon Rubie defended his big blind.

The flop came down {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and both checked through to the {3-Diamonds} turn. Two more checks delivered the {Q-Diamonds} river where Adams checked. Rubie took a stab with a bet of 60,000, but couldn't shake Adams.

Rubie showed {6-Spades}{5-Spades} for nothing, while Adams took it down with {A-Clubs}{10-Spades} for ace high.

That pot bumped Adams back to about 2.3 million.
