Macdonald Folds Aces On Bubble

Level 11

No-Limit Hold'em

Action folded to Debra Wilson in the cutoff seat and she raised to 3,200. On the button, John MacDonald called and the Randy Lew called from the small blind. Salman Behbehani called from the big blind and the flop came down {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

Action on the flop checked to MacDonald and he bet 5,000. After Lew folded, Behbehani raised to 11,000. Wilson folded, but MacDonald called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Behbehani put MacDonald all in for his last 20,000 or so. MacDonald folded and showed that he was laying down the {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}.

Bubble Finally Bursts

No-Limit Hold'em

Over an hour later since hand-for-hand began, the bubble has finally burst. Dario Sammartino has claimed the unfortunate title of bubble boy.

We unfortunately missed the hand as it played out, however, we were filled in on the details.

Apparently, Michael Malm opened to 4,100 from under-the-gun and right behind him, Sammartino went all-in for his last 12,000 and change. Action folded back around to Malm, who made the call.

Sammartino: {J-}{J-}
Malm: {10-}{10-}

Sammartino was in good shape to double up and survive, however, the board ran out with a 10 and Sammartino was eliminated.

Huck Seed in the Money; Chats with Kristy

Level 11

The remaining 45 players are now in the money including Huck Seed, who has been on somewhat of a World Series of Poker drought when it comes to cashes. He now has two this year, though, and we'll see how deep you can go from here.

On the last break, PokerNews' very own Kristy Arnett caught up with Seed to chat. Here's the interview.

Harrington Eliminated

We missed the hand, however, we just noticed "Action" Dan Harrington standing up from his table waiting to receive his payout slip.

The 1995 World Series of Poker Main-Event winner had been critically short stacked for the past couple levels, however, he managed to survive long enough to make the money.

Lisandro Doubles

Limit Hold'em

From under the gun, Jeff Lisandro raised. David Baker reraised from the cutoff seat and Lisandro called to see the {8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. Lisandro checked and Baker bet. Lisandro check-raised and Baker made the call.

On the {K-Spades} turn, Lisandro bet his last 2,700 and was all in. Baker called with the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Lisandro held the {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Lisandro successfully doubled up.

No Break; Ivey Comes Running Back

Level 12

The level has just gone up and some of the players were questioning a break. It has been ruled that they will not have a break, although Phil Ivey thought there was one and was already out the door. Someone had to chase him down in the hallway, to which Ivey came running back in, ducking under the stanchions around the tournament area, before jumping back into his seat. He didn't even miss a hand.
