Coren Doubles a Shorty

Victoria Coren opened to 3,600 from middle position and directly behind her, a player went all in for his last 8,000. Action folded back around to Coren, who made the call to put him at risk.

Coren: {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Opponent: {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}

The {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{A-Spades} kept Coren's opponent in the lead and he doubled through her.

Coren is still in good shape, however, with 64,000.

Sands Takes One Down

A player under-the-gun opened to 3,700 and was called by his opponent in the small blind and David "Doc" Sands in the big.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and it was checked over to the original raiser, who fired 5,200 into the middle. It was folded back over to Sands, who cut out a raise to 11,700 and pushed it into the middle. His opponent made the call and the turn brought the {5-Clubs}. Sands then pushed all in for approximately 34,000 and his opponent gave his hand up after some thought.

Sands is up to 65,000

Eslami Can't Call

We caught up with the action on a board of {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and over 17,000 in the pot.

Ali Eslami checked to his opponent who pushed out a bet of about 10,000. Eslami sat pondering for a while, counted out enough chips to call, but eventually shot his hand into the muck.

Eslami is now sitting at about 31,000 in chips.
