Jean-Philippe Rohr Out

We don't know exactly how the action went, but we do know that Jean-Philippe Rohr managed to get all in and at risk by the likes of Luis Campelo.

Campelo: {A-}{k-}
Rohr: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The board came {6-}{j-}{k-}{Q-}{10-} and with the river 10 Campelo grabbed hold of a straight and was able to send Rohr to the rail.

Kenneth Shelton Gone

Nghi Van Tran started out this recent hand by raising it up to 16,000. Action folded around to Kenneth Shelton on the button who min-raised to 32,000, leaving behind around 22,000. The rest of the table folded and it was back to Tran who made the call.

The flop came {10-Spades}{A-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Tran placed a bet that would put Shelton all in. Shelton said "I'm probably behind, but I have no choice" and made the call. Shelton was wrong though and his {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} was ahead. Tran tabled {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a measly pair of nines.

The {9-Diamonds} on the turn though was a dagger to Shelton who now found himself behind in the hand. A {4-Diamonds} then fell for the river and that was it for Shelton's tournament life.

Clayton Fletcher Eliminates Dash Dudley

Dash Dudley is no longer seated at his table and his former table mates were kind enough to explain why. It seems that Dudley opened from under the gun with pocket aces and Clayton Fletcher called in the big blind holding {J-} {8-}. Fletcher check-called a Dudley flop bet, before the {8-} appeared on the turn, and they both got it in with disastrous consequences for Dudley.

Fletcher Doubles Fleishman

Clayton Fletcher raised it up to 13,500 from middle position and Kyle Fleishman in late position moved all in for around 56,000. The rest of the table folded and it was back on Fletcher who took a few seconds before announcing a call.

Fletcher actually had the lead with {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, while his opponent held {Q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. A {Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop though took that lead away and gave it to the short stack.

The {9-Hearts} on the turn gave a little hope to Fletcher, but the {5-Clubs} on the river shattered it and Fleishman was awarded the double up. Despite losing the hand Fletcher still sits with around 330,000.

Luis Campelo Doubles Through Robert Brown

Luis Campelo is one of the forty-three remaining names after doubling up through Robert Brown. It was the {9-Diamonds} {9-Spades} of Campelo that out flipped the {Q-Spades} {10-Spades} of Brown in a pre flop encounter. The board was {J-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {J-Spades} and Campelo moved up to 241,000, whilst Brown now has 310,000.
