Mike Matusow (Day 1) - Out of this "f***ing tournament"

Mike Matusow was just eliminated from Event 60: $10,000 2-7 Draw Lowball (No-Limit). We don't know the details, but he wasn't happy.

"Glad I'm out of this f***ing tournament," he blurted, getting out of his chair.

He then gave Daniel Negreanu a spirited bad beat story, and exited the Tan Section of the Amazon Room.

Unfortunately for Brunson, however, Martin showed {9-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{3-} for a ninety-seven and the winning hand.

While Brunson was eliminated from the tournament, Martin increased his stack to 91,200.

Ivey Doubles

Just before the level changed, Phil Ivey was all in before the draw, and Hasan Habib had him at risk.

We're not sure if Ivey drew, but Habib definitely drew one. Ivey's hand was face up, and he had a ten-nine with {10-}{9-}{5-}{4-}{3-}. Habib was drawing with {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}, but the {a-} didn't help, and Ivey doubled.

Habib Busts Ivey

We caught up on the draw to find Hasan Habib and Konstantin Puchkov stand pat while Phil Ivey drew two.

Phil Ivey checked from the big blind and Habib bet 14,000. Puchkov made no hesitation in calling the bet and it was back on Ivey. After counting out the rest of his chips, Ivey moved all in for an additional 11,500 on top making it 25,500 total.

Habib called quickly and Puchkov mucked his hand. Habib tabled {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for a pat eighty-five. Ivey showed {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-} having made an eighty-seven after pulling two. Ivey quickly stood up and made a beeline out of the tournament area.
