Bardah Wins With Ace-High

Ronnie Bardah and David Debue were heads up with the board reading {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}, and the two players checked. The turn was the {6-Hearts}, and Bardah led out for 3,400. Debue called.

The {5-Spades} completed the board, and Bardah fired 4,900. Debue called, and Bardah immediately turned over {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for ace-high. Debue sat silently for five seconds or so, then mucked his hand.

Bardah shipped the pot, and now has about 300,000 chips.

Uribe Undone

Mayu Roca Uribe started today as one of the many short stacks hoping to score an early double-up and gain some ground on Day 3.

Soon after play began, Uribe was all in for his last 15,000 or so with {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} against an opponent holding {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. The board came badly for Uribe, with the first three community cards coming {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} to pair his opponent. The {A-Clubs} turn then gave Uribe's opponent a flush, making the {Q-Spades} no matter and sending Uribe to the rail.

Chan Gets To Work Early

Johnny Chan opened for 5,000 from under the gun and found one caller in the player in the cutoff seat.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} and both players checked, however, when the {K-Clubs} fell on the turn, Chan led out for 6,000 and his opponent quickly mucked.

Chan broke the 200K mark after taking down the pot.

Slawner Eliminated By the Kings of Zulkowitz

Howard Slawner moved all in preflop for around 25,000 only to have Amit Zulkowitz move all in over the top right behind. The rest of the field got out of the way and the cards were turned on their backs.

Showdown

Zulkowitz{K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Slawner{A-Spades}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Slawner shook hands with Zulkowitz before making his exit. As Zulkowitz was stacking his chips, he looked at the dealer and simply said, "I wanna kiss you."

Meanwhile, Adam Levy, Lasse Aastad Kjos, Fred Berger and Matthew Livingston have all hit the rail early in Level 11.
