The player in the cutoff opened to 3,600 and Matt Stout repotted from the small blind to 12,400. The player in the big blind thought for a couple of minutes and looked in pain with his decision. After a while he slid a big stack of chips to the middle while announcing he was repotting. The cutoff folded and Stout committed his last 7,000.
Stout showed and had to improve since his neighbor tabled . The flop wasn't to good for Stout: . With the on the turn the big blind was already celebrating while Stout got up from the table. The on the river wasn't of any importance and Stout exited the tournament area.
Allen Cunningham raised the button to 3,500 and chip-leader Robert Corcione three-bet it to 8,500 from the small blind. The big blind got out of the way and Cunningham tossed in a call.
A diamond-filled flop fell that read . Corcione fired 12,000 and Cunningham sat pondering for some time. Suddenly, Cunningham spoke.
"All in," he said.
Cunningham's all in was for roughly 38,000 and Corcione went into the tank. Eventually he threw his hand away and Cunningham took down the pot. The five-time WSOP bracelet winner is now sitting on a stack of about 72,000.
As we arrived Edward Brogdon was already all in. We had as a flop and Robert Corcione checked to the button who checked behind. on the turn and Corcione bet out 5,000. This made the button fold and Brogdon had to show his hand. He was about to muck though, as he was already drawing dead since Corcione showed . Brogdon revealed he was playing . The river was unnecessary and Brogdon departed.
We found Dennis Jeffrey all in and at risk before the flop holding against Nicolas Halvorson's .
The flop came down , keeping Jeffrey's queens in the lead. Halvorson still had a ton of outs, though, with hearts to make a flush or pairing either of his hole cards.
The board paired with the on the turn. The dealer delivered a heart on the river, allowing Halvorson to pump his fist as he made his flush. The river, however, was the , giving Jeffrey queens full of sixes and the best hand. Jeffrey was able to double to about 68,000.
Dan "Miami Boss" Suied opened under-the-gun to 6,000 and saw Gabriel Alarie in middle-position repot. When action folded back to Suied he called allin for about 18,000 total. Alarie showed his and Suied tabled . Suied was not in luck though as the flop was queen high: . Suied asked for a king or ten but to no avail: on the turn and . Suied is going home, Alarie is playing 82,000 now.
Blake Purvis opened to 4,000 from mid-position and he called when Ruslan Dykshteyn made it 10,000 to go from the cutoff. Both players checked on and the dealer brought out the turn: . Purvis bet out 10,000 and Dykshteyn called almost immediately. The river was the and this time Purvis bet out a mere 8,500. Dykshteyn again called quickly and showed up with a winner.
