Razavi Runs Good

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

The recently engaged British pro Sam Razavi is at the top of our chip counts after a blistering start to the day here in Event #18.

Razavi told us he's run good (when doesn't he?) and been paid off with aces and kings resulting in a monster stack of 13,000 chips. We will continue to keep an eye on Razavi, especially as he has the aggressive Kevin Vandersmissen to his direct left.

Dan Kelly Makes an Appearance

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

Dan Kelly has just taken his seat over on Table 43 and that spells bad news for anyone sat with him. A formidable talent at the best of times, Kelly has started the 2013 in scintillating form having reached the final table of two events, finishing fifth and sixth.

Can he make it a hat-trick of final tables?

It's Nice To Be The Champ

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

As we approached the table, the big blind was busy calling Greg Raymer's bet of 250 on the {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop. Both players checked the {2-Clubs} turn and the {8-Clubs} river was dealt. The big blind led for 400 and then called Raymer's 800 raise. Raymer quickly turned over {10-Spades}{7-Spades} for the nuts and all his opponent could do is shake his head and send his cards to the muck.
