Elder Calls Cloutier's River Bet

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

In one of the last hands before the break, Rupert Elder raised to 3,200 from early position and found callers in TJ Cloutier (button) and the big blind.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades}, and everyone checked. A {k-Clubs} hit the turn, and Elder bet 4,400. Cloutier raised to 10,000, and Elder made the call. He then checked the {5-Spades} river, and Cloutier bet 25,000. Elder called, showing {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}, and Cloutier said "just a king" as he mucked.

Phil Collins leads the room.

Phil Collins was facing a bet of 6,600 from an opponent after a flop of {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. He made the call. The turn was a {10-Spades}, and Collins again checked. His opponent bet 15,800, and Collins took his time before calling. A {3-Diamonds} river led two both players checking. Leah Loses a Flip

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Mike Leah pushed all in for 38,800 from late position after a middle-position player had opened to 5,100.

"I call, I guess," the player said after some thought.

Leah: {7-}{7-}
Opponent: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

A {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop was all good for Leah, but the {q-Clubs} arrived on the turn to leave him drawing to six outs. The river was a {10-Diamonds}, and Leah's tournament was done.
