Saout Doubles Short Stack

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Antoine Saout called a short stack all in with {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and was slightly ahead of his opponents {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. The board ran out {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. With that Saout doubled the short stack and moved down the chip count to 130,000

Aces For Hoffman

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Jed Hoffman and his opponent were all in preflop. Hoffman held {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and was well in front of his opponents {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}. The flop came {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} which gave Hoffman's opponent a flush draw. The turn {2-Clubs} did not change anything. The river {k-Clubs} won the hand for Hoffman and eliminated his opponent. With that Hoffman went up to 125,000 in chips.

Bolotin Doubles

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Alex Bolotin
Alex Bolotin

Alex Bolotin opened from middle position and got a three bet by the player in the small blind. Bolotin thought about his options, and ended up raising to 40,000. "Ok, I'm all in" said the small blind, putting effectively 77,500 in the middle since that's what Bolotin had at the start of the hand. Bolotin made the call with his {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and was up against {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}.

Bolotin flopped an ace on {A-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Clubs} and didn't get in trouble after that with the {4-Diamonds} on the turn and {3-Clubs} on the river.

Cremniter Triples Up

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

A player under the gun pushed his short stack all in preflop. Another player re-raised all in and then Simon Cremniter, an Athanasios Polychronopoulos look-a-like, moved all in as well. Everyone else folded and Cremniter was the shortest of the three all ins.

Cremniter: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Short Stack Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Other Opponent: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Cremniter was in the lead and held it throughout the hand as the board ran out {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. Cremniter tripled up to 55,500 after the hand.

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

John Racener made it 6,000 under-the-gun plus one, leaving him just 30,000 behind. He found one guy to see a flop with; Yury Gulyy on the button. Both players checked on the {4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop and they did so as well on the {4-Spades} on the turn. The river was the {Q-Clubs} and Racener bet 20,000, leaving him with just 10,000 for the moment. Gulyy didn't think to long and folded.

Mazin Making Waves

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

The name Mazin Khoury hasn't been featured in these updates much yet, but that's going to change. Khoury, a well known (online) player, just made a nice call in moderate pot. It's impossible to write anything about table dynamics and history, and on top of that we only wrote down the river action. It's still impressive though. The board read {8-Spades}{10-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} | {4-Diamonds} | {6-Hearts} and Khoury had checked to his opponent. That gentleman bet 14,000 with just 19,000 behind. Khoury thought for not to long before calling. "Ace high" his opponent said, showing {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} in the process. Khoury tabled {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and took down the pot.
