Yesterday, 936 players were narrowed down to just 129 after ten levels of Event #31 $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Eight-or-Better. At the end, Eric Rodawig held the chip lead, bagging up a whopping 154,800. He got a ton of those chips in a huge pot that we caught at the end of the night. He is one of three players over the 100,000 mark, as Joao Simao has 132,100, and Leif Force 118,200.
We have 129 players coming back today, but 12 of them will walk away disappointed, as only 117 of them will lock up the $2,400 minimum pay day. A slew of bracelet winners advanced yesterday, including Allen Cunningham (68,200), Barry Greenstein (53,300), Josh Pollock (52,100), Jeff Lisandro (38,000), Jason Mercier (37,100), and Mike Matusow (25,900).
Some of the non-bracelet notables who are hoping to add themselves to the aformentioned list by the end of tomorrow are Allan Le (69,700), Daniel Strelitz (63,700), David Sands (48,600), Andy Seth (26,100), and Loni Harwood (20,900).

We didn't catch the exact preflop action, but we know that both Justin Gardenhire and his opponent, Richard Acovino both stuck about 9,000 in the middle before the flop, which ended up coming down . Gardenhire bet out 10,000, and Acovino quickly announced "12,400" moving all in. Gardenhire said "well I played this one badly" before tossing in the call.

Matt Giannetti made it 2,500 to go preflop, and Loni Harwood was the only caller right behind him. The flop came down , and Giannetti checked to Harwood, who quickly bet out 5,000. Giannetti thought for about 30 seconds before quietly announcing pot, which was a bet of roughly 18,000. Harwood only thought for a few moments before putting the calling chips in the middle, and the turn was the . Giannetti announced pot, which was all in for him, as soon as the card was dealt, and it was on Harwood, who had to make a decision for all her chips. After a minute or so of thought, she kicked her hand in, giving the pot to the former November Niner.
