Tilly Doubles

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Before the break, we caught up to find Jennifer Tilly and an opponent looking at a board of {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} with 1,600 already in the middle. Tilly checked the turn and her opponent fired 650. Tilly announced a check-raise all in and and her opponent called, showing {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. He was, however, crushed by Tilly's {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a flopped full house. The {3-Spades} finished off the board and Tilly dragged in the pot.

Tilly was able to secure the double up and now sits at 5,200 in chips.

Mizrachi Starts the Grind

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Minutes after taking his seat here in the Brasilia Room's Bronze section, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi has chipped up a bit, with Yevgeniy Timoshenko serving as his victim.

Mizrachi raised his button to 400, and Timoshenko flatted from the big blind, bringing a flop of {7-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Spades} on board. Both players checked the flop, but Mizrachi took it down with a bet of 300 when the {6-Hearts} arrived on the turn.

Occam's Racener

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

We saw 2010 WSOP Main Evenr runner-up John Racener involved in a preflop raising war, one which eventually saw the pro surrender.

After a player opened for 425, Racener popped it to 1,025, but his opponent topple his stack over into a pile, signifying an unconventional all in move. Studying the situation for about a minute, Racener finally decided that simplest answer is usually correct, and he made the fold.

Unfortunately for Racener, this hand was a sign of things to come, and he was eliminated just a few deals later.
