Schmidt Catches Nine

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Eric Blair opened to 12,000 from the cutoff only to have Ryan Schmidt move all in for 62,500 from the button. Grant Hinkle called from the small blind but was surprised to find Sandor Molnar re-ship all in over the top from the big blind for about 235,000. Blair folded and Hinkle followed suit after tanking.

Molnar: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
Schmidt: {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Schmidt was able to catch his nine on the river in order to increase his stack to around 202,500.
