While Ronnie Bardah made a valiant effort to defend his title here at the $2,500 Limit Hold'em Six-Handed event, his run came to an end recently.
Already short stacked following a previous hand, Bardah got his last few bets into the middle with , and he was ahead of the tabled by his opponent.

We saw one player already all in after a series of bets and raises before the flop, with David "Bakes" Baker and a third player trying to notch the elimination.
The board of was checked down through the turn, but Baker bet the on the river. This forced his opponent to fold, and Bakes immediately announced "ace-queen" while tabling his for top pair. The all-in player could only table a second-best , and he hit the rail just short of the money.
