Robert Williamson III Eliminated in 17th Place ($8,843)

Level 20
Robert Williamson - 17th Place
Robert Williamson - 17th Place

Limit Hold'em

Robert Williamson III has been eliminated after having lost the last of his short stack in two different hands coming in quick succession.

The first was a razz hand in which Tom McCormick was all in on third street versus Williamson with ({2-}{6-}) / {4-} versus the ({A-}{8-}) / {2-} of "RWIII." McCormick ended up drawing a 6-5-4-3-2 by fifth street while Williamson paired up on sixth and got a face-card brick on seventh.

Down to just 6,500, Williamson was soon all in automatically from the big blind before the flop in a limit hold'em hand versus both Thomas Kettel and Philip Sternheimer. The board came {3-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, and after Sternheimer bet Kettel out of the hand on the river he turned over {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the ace-high flush. Williamson then looked at his hand for the first time — {Q-Diamonds}{2-Spades} — and wished everyone good luck before departing.

Tony Hartmann Eliminated in 16th Place ($8,843)

Level 20

Limit Hold'em

We caught up with the action on a flop of {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} to see Tony Hartmann and Brian Tate betting and raising until Hartmann had all of his short stack in the middle. With that, the cards were turned up to find Tate well ahead.

Tate: {J-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Hartmann: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The turn and river brought the {10-Spades} and the {k-Diamonds} respectively which saw no improvement to Hartmann's hand. He was eliminated in 16th place and will collect $8,843 in tournament winnings.

Michael Jarmark Eliminated in 15th Place ($8,843)

Level 20

Badugi

We arrived to find Michael Jarmark all in against Martin Lategui and the action at the final draw. Lategui stood pat and Jarmark made the decision to draw one.

"I just broke a badugi," said a worried Jarmark.

Lategui tabled {7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{A-Diamonds} for a made badugi to give Jarkmark a sweat.

"Oh, and I made one anyway," Jarmark dejectedly continued, showing {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{A-Spades} for the second best hand. He was eliminated in 15th place and will take home $8.843

Tom McCormick Eliminated in 14th Place ($8,843)

Level 20

Limit Hold'em

"Settle it after the board," we heard someone say as we approached Tom McCormick and Philip Sternheimer's table. The two had engaged in a preflop raising war that resulted in McCormick moving his short stack all in. The cards were turned over and Sternheimer was five community cards away from scoring an elimination.

McCormick: {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Sternheimer: {K-Clubs}{9-Spades}

The board fell down {2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} and McCormick was unable to improve. He was eliminated in 14th place.

George Outdraws Kettel

Level 20

Badugi

Christopher George bet, Thomas Kettel raised, and George called. George then took two cards and Kettel one, and George check-called Kettel's bet. Both took one on the second draw, and again George check-called.

On the third draw both players once more took a single card, and George checked again. Kettel bet once more, and when George raised, Kettel exhaled as he called. George showed {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} for a 6 Badugi, and Kettel shook his head as he mucked.

Bruno Fitoussi Eliminated in 13th Place ($8,834)

Level 20
Bruno Fitoussi - 13th Place
Bruno Fitoussi - 13th Place

Stud

Bruno Fitoussi found himself all in for his last 38,000 by third street in a stud hand versus Brandon Wong. Fitoussi held ({9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}) / {6-Clubs} for a pair while Wong was starting with three spades with ({J-Spades}{4-Spades}) / {A-Spades}.

Fitoussi would end up drawing a couple of fours and kings on subsequent streets, ending ({9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}) / {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} / ({K-Diamonds}) for a final hand of kings and nines. But Wong would make his flush by fifth, ending ({J-Spades}{4-Spades}) / {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} / ({3-Clubs}), and Fitoussi was eliminated in 13th.

The final 12 players are now redrawing for seats around the last two tables.

Martin Lategui Eliminated in 12th Place ($11,323)

Level 20

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Martin Lategui opened to 9,000 from late position and found a three-bet all in from Greg Raymer on the button for 85,500. Action folded back around to Lategui who called. Both players drew one card and the hands were tabled.

Raymer: {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Lategui: {8-}{6-}{3-}{2-}

Lategui ripped off his card immediately and showed the {J-Diamonds}, giving him a jack-eight low. Raymer did not sweat his card either and tabled the {2-Hearts}, giving him a seventy-six. The table let out a collective gasp and Raymer was all smiles as he was able to double up to around 185,000.

Lategui was knocked down to about 12,000 and was all in the next hand against Raymer and Brandon Wong. Lategui and Raymer each drew one card and Wong took two. Wong led out into a side-pot post-draw and Raymer quickly folded. Wong tabled {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for the nuts and Lategui mucked his cards. He will collect $11,323 for his 12th place finish.
