2-7 Triple Draw
Sebastian Saffari raised from the button and both Daniel Makowsky (small blind) and Loren Klein (big blind) called. All three players drew two cards on the first round, and when checked to Klein bet and the other two both called.
On the second draw Makowsky and Saffari were both taking two again, but this time Klein was standing pat. It was again checked to Klein who bet, and only Saffari stuck around. The third draw saw both players standing pat and checking.
Klein tabled and Saffari mucked. Klein earns a needed boost while Makowsky is now the table's short stack.

2-7 Triple Draw
Daniel Makowsky opened with a raise from the button and Philip Sternheimer called from the big blind. Makowsky stood pat and Sternheimer took one card. Sternheimer checked and called a bet from Makowsky.
Sternheimer took one again while Makowsky stood pat. Sternheimer fired out a bet and Makowsky called for his last 8,000.
"I have the nuts," said Sternheimer immediately. He rolled over and Makowsky simply flipped his cards over and tossed them into the muck.
With Makowsky's elimination, the field is down to the final table of six. Official chip counts will be posted momentarily.

Pot-Limit Omaha
The game switched to pot-limit Omaha, and the pattern of playing six hands of each variant will continue as long as the final table lasts.
The half-dozen hands of the first PLO round of the final table passed without much incident.
The first three were raise-and-take hands with no flop. The next saw Sebastian Saffari raise his button, Scott Abrams defend his big blind, then a continuation bet from Saffari on a flop earn him the pot.
The next hand saw Brandon Wong opening from under the gun and Christopher George calling from the big blind, and again a c-bet on the flop — this one — was enough for the preflop raiser to take it down.
And the last hand of the round went much like the previous two, with Philip Sternheimer raising from the cutoff and Abrams calling from the button, the flop coming , and a Sternheimer bet earning him the pot.
