The ladies are looking refreshed as they made their way back to the table. The first hand has been dealt and we have officially begun level 21.

Bruce Takes Down the Main Hand

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Hand #52

Shana Matthews opened to 25,000 from the cut-off, before taking down the blinds and antes in the first hand back from break.

Hand #53

Amanda Baker opened to 24,000 from the button, as both blinds folded their hands.

Hand #54

Connie Bruce opened to 30,000 from under the gun, and was called by Leanne Haas on the button. The flop came down {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Spades} as both players opted to check. The {10-Hearts} fell on the turn, as both players checked once more, to see the {k-Clubs} complete the board. Bruce reached for chips, and bet out 50,000, which was enough to take down the pot, as Haas threw her cards into the muck.

Hand #55

Kristen Bicknell opened to 25,000, which was enough to take down the blinds and antes.

Hand #56

Kristen Bicknell took down her second pot in a row, after opening to 25,000, and finding no callers.

Action Picking Up

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Hand #62

Amanda Baker opened to 24,000 from the cut-off, and was called by Leanne Haas on the button as well Eleanor Gudger on the big blind. The flop came down {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, as the action checked around to Haas, who’s bet of 35,000, was enough to take down the pot.

Hand #63

Chris Priday opened to 25,000, and was called by Leanne Haas, as both saw the flop come down {3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Priday threw out a continuation of 30,000 which was called, as the {6-Diamonds} fell on the turn. This time Priday opted to check, before Haas bet out 57,000, which brought a fold from Priday.

Hand #65

The flop came down {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades}, as Priday checked her option, before Baker threw in a continuation bet of 39,000. Haas then reached for chips, and placed out a raise to 100,000, which saw Priday fold her hand. With the action back on Baker, she stared down her opponent, whilst sitting motionless for several minutes. She eventually folded her hand, as Haas took down the pot.

Hand #66

Chris Priday opened to 25,000 from the button, as the action then fell on Kristen Bicknell on the big blind. She lent over to see how much Priday had behind, before raising it up to 65,000, which was good enough to take down the pot.

Chris Priday Eliminated in 8th Place ($15,858)

Chris Priday
Chris Priday

Hand #72

The action folded around to Eleanor Gudger, who opened to 25,000 from the button, before finding a call from Chris Priday on the big blind. The flop came down {2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, as Priday opted to bet out 25,000. It didn’t take Gudger to long, to raise it up to 70,000, which was enough to take down the pot.

Hand #73

Eleanor Gudger opened to 25,000 once again, but this time found no callers, as she took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #74

The action folded around to Shana Matthews on the small blind, who chose to make the call, as Kristen Bicknell checked her option from the big blind. The flop came down {7-Hearts}{q-Spades}{6-Clubs}, as Matthews reached for her chips, and put out a bet of 18,000. Bicknell then bumped it up to 45,000, as Matthews thought about her next move. A minute passed, before Matthews slid in a raise to 110,000, which was enough to take down the pot, as Bicknell mucked her hand moments later.

Hand #75

Eleanor Haas opened to 25,000, and watched as the rest of the table folded their hands.

Hand #76

Connie Bruce opened to 35,000, before she was met with an all in for 108,000 from Chris Priday on her left. The action folded back around to Bruce, who paused for just a moment, before making the call.

Bruce: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Priday: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

Priday was in front with her pocket sixes, but that didn’t last long, as the flop came down {2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{k-Hearts}, giving Bruce the lead with an over-pair, and eliminating the possibility of Priday winning with a flush. Drawing to one of the two remaining sixes in the deck, Bruce would find no help, as the board ran out the {10-Hearts} and {7-Spades} to see her eliminated in 8th place.
