Lindley Climbing

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

We came to the table just as Christina Lindley was calling the all in of another player. Everyone else folded and the hands were tabled.

Lindley: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Opponent: {k-}{q-}

The board came out {6-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} to give Lindley a full house and eliminating a player in the process.

Bad River for Cailly

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

When we arrived the board was already fanned out {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Lucille Cailly had bet out 1,725. Her opponent took a moment but then called. The river came the {6-Spades}. This time Cailly checked. Her opponent started grabbing black chips and stacking in five chips each as though she was planning on betting them. Instead she took three of her T500 purple chips and gently tossed them in the middle.

Cailly made a fairly quick call. She was not happy when her opponent showed {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for the rivered straight. With that hand Cailly moved her stack down to 3,850.

Coren Forces Fold

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

Vicky Coren checked on the flop with the board reading {j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-}, and her opponent bet 750. Coren then pushed forward a stack of chips big enough to put her opponent all in. After thinking for a moment, the flop bettor elected to fold, and Coren pulled in the pot. She's now up to 10,500.

Flopped Boat for Lusin

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Melisse Lusin raised to 700 from under the gun, and the only caller was Mika Hilaire on the button. The flop fell {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, and Lusin bet out for 1,500. Hilaire called, and the dealer turned the {q-Hearts}. Lusin again bet out for 1,500, and Hilaire again called. The river was the {q-Clubs}, putting two high pairs on the board, and both players checked. Lusin showed {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for a flopped full house, and Hilaire mucked her cards.

Obrestad Gets Unlucky

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante
Annette Obrestad
Annette Obrestad

The player under the gun moved all in for 950 and it folded around to Annette Obrestad, on the button, who made the call.

Obrestad: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
UTG: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop paired Obrestad's opponent and she couldn't find any help on the {3-Diamonds} turn and {7-Diamonds} river. This loss leaves Obrestad short-stacked but it didn't seem to phase her.

Shahade Eliminates Yet Another

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante
Jennifer Shahade
Jennifer Shahade

Jen Shahade raised to 450 preflop, and the button called for her last 450 in chips. Both blinds called as well, and four players (one all in), saw the flop. The dealer spread {9-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades} and action checked around to Shahade, who continued for 900. Both blinds folded, and the remaining players turned up their cards. Shahade showed {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for flopped trips, and her all-in opponent held {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. The turn and river came {4-Spades}, {7-Hearts}, and Shahade took the pot, sending yet another player to the rail.
