Negreanu and Akkari Hurting, Bach Climbing

Level 11 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

David Bach, winner of the 2009 $50,000 Poker Players Championship, just took down a very nice pot against Daniel Negreanu and Andre Akkari.

The action started with a completion from Negreanu and both Akkari and Bach called. Negreanu paired up on fourth and it was Bach who bet out. Both his opponents called and on fifth it was Negreanu again who bet after Bach checked.

All three players went to sixth street and now it was Bach again who bet, and both his opponent called.

Negreanu: (X - X) / {4-}{4-}{3-}{Q-} / (X)
Akkari: (X - X) / {7-}{K-}{8-}{9-} / (X)
Bach: (X - X) / {8-}{5-}{8-}{6-} / (X)

On seventh street Bach bet, Negreanu folded and Akkari made the call. Bach showed {A-}{2-}{7-} and he raked in this big pot.
