Owais Ahmed Eliminated in 15th Place ($9,462)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Owais Ahmed - 15th Place
Owais Ahmed - 15th Place

Stud Hi-Low

We picked up the action on fourth street when a short-stacked Owais Ahmed got his remaining chips all in against Fu Wong.

Ahmed: {2-Spades}{j-Spades} / {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{10-Spades} / {K-Hearts}
Wong: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} / {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} / {3-Spades}

Ahmed got it in with jacks, but it was no good as Wong had split aces. Fifth street didn't change much, but Ahmed took a temporary lead when he hit two pair on sixth. Unfortunately for him Wong received his card and made a better two pair.

Ahmed was unable to improve on seventh and was eliminated from the tournament in 15th place for $9,462.

Leah Cannot Hit Everything

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

It seems as if Mike Leah has been hitting everything. In a hand against Erik Seidel he was betting on all streets of a {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{7-Hearts} board and then announced "I got it" after Seidel tossed in the final 20,000 chips. Leah tabled {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades} for quads.

Stud Hi-Low

He then started a stud hand with {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} / {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} but bricked thereafter with {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} / {10-Diamonds} against the fives and threes of Tyson Marks.

Schneider Gives It Up

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Stud Hi-Low

There was already 85,000 pulled into the pot when we caught the action on seventh between Tom Schneider and Robert Mizrachi.

Mizrachi: {x-}{x-} / {6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{q-Hearts} / {x-}
Schneider: {x-}{x-} / {4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{a-Clubs} / {x-}

It appeared Mizrachi bet, Schneider raised, and Mizrachi three-bet to 60,000. Schneider, who only had 25,000 left, seemed perplexed by the three-bet and thought for a long time before releasing his hand and showing his down cards — {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}.

Schneider Is Not Done Yet

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

Tom Schneider folded his big and small blind against raises and dropped to as low as 10,000. He then chopped a hand with {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades} versus {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts}. One hand later he called all in for 15,000 after a raise from Terrence Hastoo and Thomas Keller called from the small blind.

They checked the {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop and Keller then bet 20,000 each on the {3-Diamonds} turn and {4-Diamonds} river. Hastoo called and they chopped the low pot whereas Keller won some off Hastoo on the high pot. Schneider raked in the high pot.

Schneider: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Hastoo: {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Keller: {4-Spades}{A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Schneider As Short Stack Ninja

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

Tom Schneider got the remainder of his stack in against the raise from Chris Reslock and they both turned over their cards.

Schneider: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{9-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Reslock: {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

The {Q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} was not good for Reslock as he now needed running cards in order to improve and score the knockout. Both the {10-Diamonds} turn and the {Q-Spades} river blanked and Schneider scooped the pot.

He Makes the Wong Call

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

Fu Wong opened for 24,000 from the hijack only to have Tyson Marks three-bet to 36,000 from the button. The blinds both folded, Wong called, and the flop came down {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{a-Spades}.

Wong check-called a bet of 12,000 and then both players checked the {2-Spades} turn. When the {10-Spades} completed the board on the river, Wong led out for 24,000 and Marks thought long and hard before making the call. Wong rolled over the {q-Spades}{3-Spades}{a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for a flush, and it was good enough to win the entire pot as Marks mucked.

Schneider And Reslock Chop At Risk

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Low

Chris Reslock opened to 24,000 from early position and Terrence Hastoo called to see the {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop. Reslock bet 12,000 and was called, after the {2-Spades} turn, Reslock got his remaining 3,000 in and Hastoo made the call.

Reslock: {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Hastoo: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Reslock was free rolling with the made low and a chance at the hi pot, but Hastoo caught the {8-Diamonds} river for a straight to chop it up.

Stud Hi-Low

Tom Schneider completed for 12,000 and called the raise to 24,000 from Erik Seidel to get his final 27,000 in the middle on fifth after Seidel bet the fourth and was called.

Schneider: {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} / {2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs} / {4-Hearts}
Seidel: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} / {5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} / {5-Clubs}

Again the short stack was free rolling with the made low and the pot was chopped after seventh.
