Hands #108-112: Valouev Survives

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Hand #108: Gabriel Nassif opened to 60,000 and it was folded to Dmitrii Valouev who called in for 5,000 less. Nassif held {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Valouev {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Valouev would stay alive when he would hit two pair on the {K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} run out.

Hand #109: Matthew Dames opened for 105,000 and picked up the blinds.

Hand #110: Brandon Paster opened to 80,000 from the small blind and folded when Millard Hale made it 240,000 to go from the big blind.

Hand #111: Paster opened to 90,000 and Nassif called from the big blind. Nassif would check-fold to Paster's 125,000 bet on the {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop.

Hand #112: Marcel Vonk opened to 90,000 and Paster re-raised pot. Vonk wasted no time in folding when the action got back to him.

Hand #115: Matthew Dames raised pot size to 140,000 from the button and Dmitrii Valouev called all in for 105,000 from the big blind.

Dames: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Valouev: {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}

"Hold one time," Valouev said with a grin on the face and pointed to his pair of deuces, followed by the laughter of all opponents.

The {10-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{10-Spades} flop killed almost all hope for yet another double up as Valouev now needed running deuces to stay alive. It was all over after the {8-Spades} turn and the {4-Hearts} river completed the board. For his 7th place finish, Valouev will receive $31,278.

Hands #116-119: Humphrey Three Bet Takes One Down

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Hand #116: Matt Dames raised it to 120,000 and picked up the blinds when everyone folded.

Hand #117: Marcel Vonk opened to 80,000 from the button and Millard Hale called from the big blind. Hale would check-fold to Vonk's 180,000 chip bet on the {Q-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop.

Hand #118: Brandon Paster opened to 85,000 from the button and would win the blinds when everyone folded.

Hand #119: Gabriel Nassif opened to 120,000 from the small blind, Matthew Humphrey made it 360,000 to go from the big blind and Nassif folded his hand.

Hand #120: Brandon Paster opened for 85,000 and Millard Hale re-raised the pot making it a total of 315,000. It was folded back to Paster who re-raised enough to set Hale all in. Hale snap-called and the hands were turned face up:

Hale: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Paster: {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

Hale was in the lead but that would change quickly on the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop as Paster flopped trips with the nut flush draw. The turn was the {K-Clubs} and Hale would need to hit the {A-Diamonds} or {K-Diamonds} to stay alive. The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Paster's hand would hold up eliminating Hale in sixth place.

Hand #124: Nassif limped from the small blind, Humphrey raised to 120,000 and Nassif called. Both checked the {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{A-Spades} flop, Humphrey then moved all in for 165,000 after the {Q-Diamonds} turn. The Frenchman mucked his cards.

Hand #125: Paster raised to 90,000 and Nassif reraised the pot, being at risk for his last 330,000. Paster folded a nice hi-low hand.

Hand #134: Dames raised to 110,000 from early position and Humphrey called in the big blind to see the {10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. Humphrey bet 175,000 and then called all in for another 135,000 when Dames moved all in.

Humphrey: {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}{K-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Dames: {7-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

Both the {8-Diamonds} turn and the {8-Spades} river blanked and Humphrey doubled up, Dames is now really short.
