Wright Scoops Chen

Level 11

Badacey

Bill Chen bet after the second draw, and Larry Wright raised. Chen called, and he drew one while Wright patted. On the end, Chen check-called.

"I've got a pretty damn good hand," Wright said, tabling {6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts} for a six-low with a five-badugi.

That was good for a sweeper, as Chen showed {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}, indicating he had a seven-low with a seven-badugi.

Martin Doubles Through Smirnov

Level 12

No-Limit Hold'em

Jesse Martin opened for 1,150 under the gun, and Anton Smirnov three-bet to 2,900 in the next spot. Martin pushed when action got back to him, and Smirnov thought for a bit before calling the 8,650 total.

Martin: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Smirnov: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Martin had a dominating hand, and the board ran out {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades}, giving him a full house to double up.

Set For Tull

Level 12

Limit Hold'em

On a board of {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, Larry Tull led out with a bet. Shawn Buchanan came over the top with a raise and Tull wasted little time making it three bets to go. Buchanan called to see the river.

The dealer completed the board with the {A-Diamonds} and Tull fired one last bet. Buchanan called and Tull flipped over {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a flopped set of a fives. Buchanan's cards went into the muck and Tull was pushed the pot. He now has about 51,000 in chips.

Boyle Doubles in "No-Limit Razz"

Level 12

Razz

Jacob Boyle completed with {6-Hearts}, and an opponent raised with {3-Spades}. Boyle reraised, and his opponent raised back. Boyle capped it, also sliding forward his last 400 blind. His opponent obliged as the dealer hesitated.

"They're agreeing to be all in," a player at the table assured her.

The dealer quickly began flinging the cards, and Boyle's ended up with {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}/{6-Hearts}{9-Spades}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, catching a nine-seven low on the end. His opponent could only manage to make a ten, and Boyle took nearly all of his opponent's stack.

"No-limit Razz over here," said Andrew Rennhack at the table.

Ace-High For Tull

Level 12

No-Limit Hold'em

The board read {4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{K-Hearts} and Larry Tull checked over to Senovio Ramirez. Ramirez cut out a bet of 3,800 and Tull thought for a moment before dropping out a call.

The {6-Clubs} paired the board on the river and Tull checked once more. Ramirez knuckled the table in reply.

"Ace high," said Tull. He waited a beat and Ramirez did not table his hand. Tull showed {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Ramirez mucked his hand and Tull was pushed the pot. The start-of-day chip leader now has about 55,000 in chips.
