Mayrinck Finishes Off Levi; Fricke Scores Min-Cash

Level 14
Maria Mayrinck bursts the money bubble
Maria Mayrinck bursts the money bubble

Jimmy Fricke and David Levi were all in before the flop for 1,400 and 900, respectively, and Thayer Rasmussen and Maria Mayrinck saw the first three community cards as well in a side pot. Rasmussen bet the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Spades} flop, and Mayrinck raised. Rasmussen folded.

Mayrinck: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}
Fricke: {j-}{10-}{6-}{5-}
Levi: {q-}{6-}{4-}{x-}

The turn and river were a {9-Clubs} and {8-Diamonds}, and Mayrinck's trips scooped the pot. Rasmussen said he would have won with a queen-high straight. Levi and Fricke both busted, but since Fricke had more chips to start the hand, he received a payout ticket while Levi got nil. Fricke was understandably pleased to score a cash in a spot where he had less than half of a big bet left.

Rasmussen joked that Mayrinck should have just called him so he could have gotten there.

"I didn't fly 17 hours from Brazil to fold three aces," Mayrinck said.

Lukacs Doubles Through Barbaro

Level 14

Badacey

Zeev Lukacs raised from the button and Francesco Barbaro made it three bets from the small blind. Action folded back to Lukacs and he called. Barbaro took one on the first draw while Lukacs opted for three. Barbaro led out with a bet.

"Woooow," said Lukacs. "Wow."

Lukacs put out a raise and Barbaro flatted. Both players stood pat on the second draw and Barbaro checked. Lukacs bet all in for less than one more big bet and Barbaro called. Both players stood pat and fanned their cards.

Lukacs showed {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} for a scoop and he secured a double up to about 26,000.

Schaff Busts Rast

Level 14

Pot-Limit Omaha

The flop read {7-Spades}{J-Spades}{8-Spades} and Aaron Schaff checked. Yuebin Guo checked as well and Brian Rast moved all in from the button for his last 6,600. Schaff called and Guo got out of the way.

Rast: {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Schaff: {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Both players flopped two pair with jacks and eights but Schaff quickly improved to a better two pair on the turn with the {Q-Clubs}. The {6-Spades} finished off the board and Rast was eliminated from play. Schaff picked up the pot and now sits around 80,000.
