Yarbrough Pairs Up

Level 19 : 1,000/1,000, 6,000 ante

One hand after getting pushed off a pot by Ryan D'Angelo, Herbert Yarbrough shoved his last 70,000 in preflop following a couple of limps.

D'Angelo made the call and was ahead with {k-Spades}{10-Clubs} against Yarbrough's {q-Spades}{9-Spades}. The turn changed that on the {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts}{j-Spades} board and Yarbrough doubled.

Joseph Doubles Through Levy, Levy Not Broke

Level 19 : 1,000/1,000, 6,000 ante

Adam Levy raised to 36,000 and Jeremy Joseph moved all in for just under 200,000. Joseph had increased his stack by shoving the previous hand and not getting looked up but this time Ley made the call.

Levy had {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Joseph tabled the {k-Spades}{q-Spades}.

Joseph was the one at risk and Levy sighed on the flop as the board ran out {k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades} to leave him short and Joseph doubled up.

Levy would double through Brendan Taylor shortly after though. Nine ways to the flop of {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} Taylor made it 40,000 and Levy moved all in.

Taylor called and turned over {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Levy showed the {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and the river the {q-Clubs} to give some precious chips back to Levy.

Brendan Taylor Eliminated in 10th Place ($12,694)

After doubling up Adam Levy, Brendan Taylor called a 30,000-chip preflop bet from Jeremy Joseph and they went heads-up to the flop. Joseph made it 44,000 after the {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} came down and Taylor shipped for some 170,000.

Joseph called quickly and was miles ahead of Taylor's {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} holding {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and just like that the final table is set and play has ended for the night.

Ante-Only Final Table Set

Level 19 : 1,000/1,000, 6,000 ante
Jeremy Joseph
Jeremy Joseph

A total of 80 players turned up for Day 2 of the $1,500 Ante-Only No-Limit Hold'em event, just eight spots shy of the money.

The bubble burst quickly and play continued at a rather brisk pace as big name hopefuls like Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Jason Somerville, and eventually Maria Ho took the money and ran.

Overnight leader Ryan D'Angelo destroyed for most of the day and held onto that lead until a few late miscues saw him fall towards the middle of the pack. He did hold onto a spot in the final nine, however, which was set midway through the event's 19th level.

Thanks to a flurry at the end, Jeremy Joseph grabbed the lead just ahead of Simeon Naydenov.

Outside of D'Angelo, the most notable pro in the final nine would have to be Adam Levy, who will be making his first World Series of Poker final table Wednesday after a number of close calls in the past.

Although Naydenov won a $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout event last year, Jeremy Joseph made two final tables at the 2013 WSOP Europe and Arthur Pro came a heartbreaking second in a $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em event in 2013.

This will also be Jesse McEuen's second WSOP final table, but the rest of the pack, including Rhys Jones, Herbert Yarbrough and Jonas Lauck will all be first-timers.

The action will heat up Wednesday at 1 p.m. and the PokerNews Live Reporting Team will be here to capture every hand. Tune in then to see who is crowned this year's Ante-only champ.
