Debbie Mitchell Eliminated in 21th Place ($4,817)

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Debbie Mitchell - 21st Place
Debbie Mitchell - 21st Place

A monster pot just occurred involving Shana Davis, Persia Bonella, and Debbie Mitchell. We missed the preflop betting action, but Mitchell and Bonella were both all in and covered by Davis.

Davis: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Mitchell: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Bonella: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Mitchell was the shortest stack of the three ladies and was in the best shape to score the triple up. The dealer burned a card and then dropped a {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{k-Clubs} flop. Bonella hit a one-outter to flop a set of kings and the turn and river — {8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} — secured her the pot. Mitchell was eliminated and Bonella raked in the monster pot.

Shana Davis Eliminated in 20th Place ($4,817)

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Shana Davis - 20th Place
Shana Davis - 20th Place

Shana Davis had pushed her short stack all in a couple of times and got folds around the table. She did it once more from the cutoff and Kendra Wray made the call from the button.

Davis: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}
Wray: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Davis was staring elimination in the eyes and was hoping for spades or an eight to give her some hope. The board ran out {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Wray's queens took down the pot, eliminating Davis in 20th place for $4,817.

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Randi Rusnell - 19th Place
Randi Rusnell - 19th Place

With around 80,000 in the pot and a board reading {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}, Randi Rusnell open-shoved all in. After a moment, Karen Cameron made the call putting Rusnell at risk.

Rusnell: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Cameron: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Cameron had made a great read and call. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn, left Rusnell needing only an ace, but the {7-Spades} fell on the river and Rusnell was sent to the rail.

Richele Johnston moved all in preflop and Patricia Cahill shoved all in over top. Action folded around and the two ladies' hands were tabled.

Johnston: {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Cahill: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The dealer rolled out a board of {5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{k-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Johnston could not find any help.

Charlet Molique - 16th Place

We missed the action as there were two all ins on the final two tables but witnessed Charlet Molique standing up from the table and Mikiyo Aoki stacking up chips.

Molique had {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} was tabled in front of Aoki. The board read {j-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Molique was sent to the payout booth.

Heidi Rhodes Eliminated in 15th Place ($7,322)

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Heidi Rhodes - 15th Place
Heidi Rhodes - 15th Place

Facing a raise from Xuan Liu, Heidi Rhodes three-bet all in preflop and was called. Rhodes was the shorter-stacked player by far and was at risk of elimination.

Rhodes: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Liu: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The board was not friendly for Rhodes, as it ran out {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. Both players held ace-high, but Liu's queen kicker won her the pot and busted Rhodes from this event. She finished in 15th Place and has earned $7,322.

Sherry Dixon Eliminated in 14th Place ($7,322)

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Sherry Dixon - 14th
Sherry Dixon - 14th

Sherry Dixon and Siriwan Sukmekerd got it all in preflop, forcing Dixon to confront the possibility of elimination.

Dixon: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Sukmekerd: {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Dixon was ahead with her nines, and the flop of {j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} was looking alright for her. The turn of {q-Spades} was looking safe for her too. But when the {j-Clubs} fell on the river, her nines were counterfeited and both players were playing the two pairs on the board. Sukmekerd's ace kicker made hers the better hand and Dixon was eliminated from this tournament in a most unfortunate fashion. She finished in 14th place and earned $7,322.

Siriwan Sukmekerd Eliminated in 13th Place ($7,322)

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Slriwan Sukmekerd - 13th Place
Slriwan Sukmekerd - 13th Place

In a blind verses blind battle, Siriwan Sukmekerd got it all in preflop with Haixia Zhang and was in a world of trouble when their hands were turned over.

Sukmekerd: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Zhang: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

The fives were unable to catch up to the aces on the board of {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Clubs}, and once the dealer counted out their stacks, Sukmekerd was still alive but left with only 6,000 in chips — two big blinds.

Sitting in the small blind the next hand, there was nothing to do but get it in with Stacey Sullivan in the big blind, and once ahead she needed help.

Sukmekerd: {3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Sullivan: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop just about sealed the deal on its own, as it came down {6-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, giving Sullivan two pairs. The turn was the {3-Spades}, allowing the tiniest glimmer of hope for trips. But the river was the {k-Clubs} and Sukmekerd was eliminated in 13th place for a prize of $7,322.

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Stacey Vaughn - 12th Place
Stacey Vaughn - 12th Place

Just moments after returning from their break, Stacey Vaughn got it all in blind versus blind with Elizabeth Montizanti.

Montizanti: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Vaughn: {k-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The flop was strong for Montizanti, as she made a set on {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts}. The turn and river of {6-}{4-} weren't able to preserve Vaughn, and she was eliminated in 12th place. She headed to the cashier to collect $9,078.
