Perlman Doubles Through Filatov

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Marc Perlman was in the small blind, and he bet 15,000 on a {7-Spades}{q-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop against Aleksey Filatov, who called. The turn brought a {j-Clubs} and Perlman pushed all in for about 20,000, being called right away.

Perlman: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Filatov: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Perlman had outflopped his opponent's kings, and the {8-Spades} river meant he finished with two pair and the nut low, good to scoop against kings and the ace-three low.

Lu Bursts Bubble

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Joe Lu hit quads to bust the bubble in style.
Joe Lu hit quads to bust the bubble in style.

Finally, the bubble has been burst.

A short stack was all in and called in two spots, and the flop came {5-Clubs}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Joe Lu bet 6,000 after his active opponent checked, and the player called. Two checks ensued on the {5-Diamonds} turn, and the {9-Diamonds} hit the river. Lu made another wager, but his opponent snap-folded, and Lu turned over {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs} for the quads.

Players are now in the money after a short break to color up some chips.

Cousineau Gets the Min-Cash

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Tony Cousineau opened for pot under the gun, and action folded all the way to the big blind, Florian Langmann.

"I'll just call," he said, as Cousineau had only 15,000 behind.

"Aww," Cousineau said.

"I want to see a good flop," Langmann said.

The {2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} evidently qualified, as he put Cousineau all in, and Cousineau called.

Cousineau: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Langmann: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

Langmann had a better low and a pair of sixes, putting him in position to scoop. He did just that when the {5-Diamonds} turn and {10-Spades} river completed the board.

Depa Scores an Elimination

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Jonathan Depa raised to 6,000 under the gun, and Scott Abrams potted to 21,000 from the small blind, leaving himself just a couple of thousand behind. Depa flatted, and the flop came {5-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Abrams tossed his last chips in, and Depa called.

Abrams: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Depa: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The dealer burned and turned a {5-Spades} giving Depa the lead with ace-king kicker and trip fives.

"That's...a really good card for him," Abrams said. The {2-Spades} river signaled the end for Abrams.

Hanson, Lawson Survive

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

A player limped in early position, and Bart Hanson put his last 5,000 in on the button. Ted Lawson jammed from the blinds for about 25,000, and the limper called.

Early position: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Hanson: {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Lawson: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

"I'm going to try my best to make a low," the early player said, seeing he had the best starting low hand of the three.

A {2-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{2-Spades} flop meant a low was unlikely though, and Lawson had a near-lock for high with a boat. The {q-Clubs} turn made it official for him, and the {4-Hearts} river kept Lawson's tens in front for the side pot.
