Secondary Table Hands #22-25: Kaplan Stays Active

Hand #22 Christoph Vogelsang raised to 345,000 from early position and Gabe Kaplan called from the big blind. The flop came down {J-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Kaplan checked to Vogelsang who bet 400,000. Kaplan called and the turn was the {8-Spades}. Kaplan checked again and this time Vogelsang fired out 900,000. This was too much for Kaplan who quickly folded.

Hand #23: Rick Salomon raised to 330,000 from the button and Gabe Kaplan called from the small blind. Phil Ivey called from the big blind and the flop came down {Q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. All three players checked. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and again the action was checked. On the river the {Q-Hearts} hit and for a third straight time all thee players checked. Salomon showed {J-}{10-} but Kaplan had the winner with {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

Hand 24: Tom Hall raised under the gun to 325,000 and Brandon Steven called from the hijack. The flop came down {K-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Hall picked up the pot with a 650,000-chip bet.

Hand #25: Cary Katz won the blinds and antes with an under the gun raise to 350,000.
