Hands #117-123, Nguyen River Three Outered

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand 117: Jeff Smith opened to 60,000, Danny Nguyen made the call, Frank Patti raised 155,000 from the small blind, Smith folded and Nguyen called. Flop {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Nguyen checked, Patti bet 125,000, Nguyen called. Turn {10-Hearts}, both players checked to the river {a-Clubs}. Both checked again and Danny turned over {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for the win.

Hand 118: Smith got a walk.

Hand 119: Patti raised to 60,000 and Nguyen made the call from the big blind. Flop dropped {q-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, Nguyen checked, Patti bet 50,000, Nguyen raised to 130,000, Patti Folded.

Hand 120: Patti got a walk.

Hand 121: Smith got a walk

Hand 122: Nguyen opened to 65,000 in the small blind and Patti called to see a {6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. Nguyen continued for 80,000, Patti called. Turn {2-Spades} Nguyen bet 125,000, Patti insta-shoved, Nguyen snap-called putting Patti at risk.

Nguyen: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Patti: {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

Patti's bluff shove did not work and he was one card away from elimination. He needed an ace and only an ace and the river {a-Spades} would keep his dream alive. Catching the three outer and securing his double up.
