Lisawad Beats Benger Out of This One

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

From under the gun, Pakinai Lisawad opened with a raise to 35,000. Action then folded to Griffin Benger in the cutoff seat, and he reared to 83,000. After the button and blinds all folded, Lisawad made the call to take a flop.

The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}, and Lisawad checked. Benger continued his in-position aggression with a bet of 86,000. Lisawad called.

The dealer added the {K-Spades} to the board on the turn, and both players checked to see the {Q-Diamonds} land on the river. Again, both players checked.

"I've got a nine," announced Lisawad.

"It's good," responded Benger.

Lisawad showed the {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a pair of nines, and Benger mucked his hand.

Guo's Boat Wins

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Dong Guo raised to 36,000 before the flop and Pfizer Jordan called from the button. The big blind called as well and the flop brought out {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. The big blind checked to Guo who bet 39,000 and Jordan was the lone caller.

The turn brought the {K-Diamonds} and this time Guo checked to Jordan who bet 85,000. Guo tanked for a little bit and called.

On the river the {10-Diamonds} hit and both players checked.

Jordan showed {J-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a full house but Guo's {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} took this pot down. Despite losing this hand Jordan has amassed a big stack as of late and he now has more than two million chips.

The Sun Sets in the West

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

A preflop raising war resulted in Jeffrey West getting his stack of approximately 500,000 all in against Christopher Shaw. As one might expect, it was a classic race situation.

West: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Shaw: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

West was the player at risk and the one that needed to improve. He didn't do it on the {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop, nor on the {4-Hearts} turn. West needed either an ace or king on the river to survive, but it wasn't meant to be as the {J-Diamonds} peeled off.

Politano Over Jiganti

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Picking up with the action on a {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{J-Spades} flop, we found Zach Jiganti moved out a bet of 128,000. Bruno Politano called and the {Q-Hearts} came down on fourth street. Jiganti waited a moment before moving out 345,000 on fourth street. Politano called once more.

The {8-Spades} hit the felt on the river and Jiganti slowed with a check. Politano quickly rapped the table behind.

"You've got it," said Jiganti showing {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for ace-high.

Politano showed {A-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a pair of jacks and took down the pot. He now has about 2.62 million in chips while Jiganti has dropped to three million.
