Park Fires Three Bullets at Martin

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Robert Park
Robert Park

Trevor Martin raised to 120,000 in early position, Robert Park three-bet to 325,000 on his direct left, and the action folded all the way back to Martin, who called.

The flop fell {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, Martin checked, and Park tossed out 275,000. Martin called.

The turn was a third club - the {9-Clubs} - and Martin check-called an additional 430,000, putting nearly 2.2 million chips in the middle.

The river was the {7-Spades}, Martin checked a third and final time, and Park fired a final bullet worth 1.1 million. Martin folded fairly quickly, and the pot was pushed to Park.

Finstein with the Check-Raise

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Michael Finstein opened to 115,000 from the hijack and found calls from Mark Newhouse in the cutoff and William Cole on the button. The blinds folded, allowing the trio to see {3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} hit the felt. Finstein checked, Newhouse bet 175,000, and Cole let his hand go.

Finstein thought for a moment before sliding out a check-raise to 500,000. Newhouse quickly threw his hand away and Finstein took the pot.

Daniel Wilson Eliminated in 65th Place ($103,025)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Daniel Wilson - 65th place
Daniel Wilson - 65th place

From under the gun, Matt Waxman opened to 100,000 and Daniel Wilson called from the big blind.

Both players checked the {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop before Wilson led for 130,000 when the turn landed the {J-Diamonds}. Waxman made the call, and when the {2-Hearts} landed on the river, Wilson bet out 250,000.

Waxman announced he was all in and Wilson made the call for his 490,000 total.

Wilson tabled his {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for second pair, but it would be Waxman's {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a wheel that would see him eliminate Wilson in 65th place for a $103,025 payday as Waxman climbs to 3 million in chips.

Mahin Spikes Set

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

From the cutoff, Scott Mahin moved all in for 420,00 and Sean Dempsey called form the small blind.

Mahin: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Dempsey: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

With Mahin racing for his tournament life, the {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} flop put Dempsey in the lead until the {J-Clubs} landed on the turn to shift the advantage Mahin's way.

Now needing to fade an ace or nine, the river landed the {10-Diamonds} and Mahin doubled through to 930,000 as Dempsey slipped to just under 4 million in chips.

Brian Hastings Eliminated in 64th Place ($103,025)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Brian Hastings - 64th Place
Brian Hastings - 64th Place

Andrey Zaichenko opened for 110,000 from the cutoff only to have Iaron Lightbourne three-bet to 260,000 from the button. Brian "$stinger 88" Hastings then four-bet all in for 1.3 million from the small blind, and Zaichenko moved all in over the top to drive out Lightbourne.

Zaichenko: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Hastings: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

"I have been really good at all ins," Hastings said prior to the flop, which came down {9-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. Hastings paired his jack, but he was in dire straits as Zaichenko had flopped a set. "One out," Hastings said after the dealer had burned and turned the {J-Diamonds}. Indeed, the case jack would give Hastings the win, but it wasn't in the cards as the {A-Diamonds} blanked on the river.

"Well, I can tell my friends and family I lost with a full house," Hastings joked before taking his leave in 64th place for $103,025.

Jason Johnson raised to 125,000 on the button and was called by Dong Guo in the small blind. Both players checked the {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop, and a {5-Spades} turned. Guo bet 155,000, and Johnson called. On the {4-Spades} river, Guo bet 180,000 only to see Johnson pop it up to 450,000. Guo called immediately, and he had the winner with {j-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flush. Johnson showed {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.
