Day 1e will start at 7 p.m. local time at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, in the Mirada room.
To date, 2003 runners have registered across the first four starting flights. There is every chance today will be the busiest day, as this is players' last opportunity to get in the running, with Day 2 taking place tomorrow at 2 p.m.
Pedro Arroyos, is the one to beat. He is the overall chip leader so far, finishing Day 1a with a stack of 1,757,000. Will anyone surpass him today?

A starting stack is 25,000 chips, and during Day 1, levels last 20 minutes. This will increase to 40-minute levels from Day 2 onward. There are 21 levels on the schedule, or the tournament will play down to 10 players, whichever is first. Players will get a 20-minute break every two hours, after six levels of play.

A little later than scheduled but Day 1e of the PLO Giant is now underway.
Two players were in on a flop and there were 450 chips in the pot. Both players checked the flop and the dealer laid a on the turn. Corey Hochman led for 350 and his opponent called.
The river paired the board and Hochman bet 300 this time, which was quickly called. Hochman turned over for the straight and it was good enough to win the chips.

There were four players in, the blinds and the cutoff and button.
The flop read and Jon Thornbrugh had checked. The player on his left bet 700, which the two late position players called. Back on Thornbrugh, he bet pot, which was 4,625. This got one fold and two calls.
The river card was a and Thornbrugh barreled 7,000 into the 16,550 pot. Both opponents passed and he gets off to a good start.
