Big Chop for Frazin and Carli

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Douglas Carli: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} / {3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Tim Frazin: {A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts} / {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Shaun Deeb: {X-}{X-} / {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{J-Spades} - fold
Player 4: {X-}{X-} / {6-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{A-Spades}{K-Spades} - fold

Shaun Deeb and another player had a big bet in front of them on sixth street but Tim Frazin had raised and Douglas Carli had three-bet. Deeb contemplated his decision for a while and folded and the other player did exactly the same. Frazin called and called another bet on the river.

Frazin made a six low and Carli showed a flush so they chopped the pot that included some extra chips from other players.

Deeb Doesn't Believe in Clubs

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Shaun Deeb: {X-}{X-}{X-} / {Q-Hearts}{K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Brian Goddard: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} / {7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Shaun Deeb was on sixth street, facing a bet from Brian Goddard. Deeb's board was Broadway-packed but the problem was that Goddard's board was all clubs. There had been another player involved in the hand but he folded his cards with his board showing one club blocker.

Deeb decided to call and then snap-called another bet on the river. Goddard, however, had it, revealing a ten of clubs among his hole cards. Deeb mucked and continued with around 10,000.

Johnson on a Short Stack

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Ahmed Mohamed: {x-}{x-} / {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts} / {x-}
Marco Johnson: {x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades} / {x-}

Picking up the action on fourth street, Ahmed Mohamed was heads up with two-time bracelet winner Marco Johnson. Mohamed held the betting lead throughout the entire hand and led out on each and every street.

Johnson looked as though he was contemplating folding a couple of times, but stuck around until seventh street. Mohamed tossed in another bet and Johnson finally released his cards to the muck, leaving himself with just over 8,000 chips.

Monnette and Deeb Eliminated on the Same Hand

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb: {A-Clubs}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds} / {2-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
John Monnette: {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} / {8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Douglas Carli: {6-}{7-}{X-} / {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Max Hoffman: {A-Spades}{8-Spades}{A-} / {6-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Shaun Deeb completed and Max Hoffman raised. John Monnette called for his last 800, Douglas Carli called, and Shaun Deeb then moved all in for fewer than a full three-bet. All four players went to the showdown with Carli and Hoffman adding a few bets on the way.

Carli made a low while all other players made two pair. Unfortunately for Deeb and Monnette, their respective two-pair hands were inferior to Hoffman's aces up.

Monnette and Deeb left their chairs while Hoffman added to his huge chip stack. He's now playing around 142,000.

Rechnitzer Misses Out on a Scoop

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

George Rechnitzer: {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} / {5-Spades}{a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Mark Fisher: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts} / {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Peter Brownstein: {x-}{x-} / {6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades} / {x-}

Mark Fisher was all in on fourth street, which left George Rechnitzer and Peter Brownstein heads-up for the side pot. Rechnitzer had four cards to a wheel showing on his board and made a bet on every street. Brownstein check-called him down, but to no avail.

Rechnitzer showed a wheel for the nut low and a six-high straight. Just when he thought he was about to scoop everything, Fisher flipped over a rivered flush to take half of the main pot with the best high hand.

Can It Get More Complicated?

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 300 ante

Delmiro Toledo: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} / {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Rafael Lebron: {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts} / {6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Scott Gullett: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{8-Hearts} / {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Benjamin Dobson: {X-}{X-}{X-} / {5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{4-Clubs} - fold on seventh
Dmitry Chop: {X-}{X-} / {6-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} - fold on fifth

Delmiro Toledo four-bet pre after Benjamin Dobson three-bet. Dmitry Chop, Rafael Lebron, and Scott Gullett came along, as well as Dobson.

So they were five-way to fourth street with a huge pot already sitting in the middle of the table. Lebron bet, Gullett raised, and Dobson called. Toledo pushed all in for 5,100 total and only Chop folded.

Fifth street was checked but Lebron fired on sixth, earning two calls. The river saw Lebron bet again and Gullett raised, getting rid of Dobson. Lebron called, having made six low and a six-high straight. He'd only take a half of the pot as Gullett opened three hearts for a flush.

By the time they were figuring out the respective hands, Toledo had already left the room.
