Down to just a few big blinds and merely folds in front of him, George Xu opened for pot from the button committing the majority of his chips.

Phil Riley, his neighbor in the small blind, repotted and the big blind folded. Xu added the remainder of his chips to get to showdown.

The board ran out and just like that, Xu exited in 10th place.

Xu, who won this very event two years ago, takes home $11,596 for his deep run. The remaining nine players are now guaranteed $14,904.

Jeanmarc Thomas Eliminated in 11th Place ($11,596)

Phil Riley opened to 32,000 from the cutoff and Jeanmarc Thomas moved all-in for what looked like 62,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back around to Riley and he called to put Thomas at risk.

Riley had the preflop advantage and Thomas needed to improve to survive. The board ran out giving Riley trip nines to take the pot and end Thomas's run in this tournament.

Victor Ramdin Eliminated in 13th Place ($9,173)

Jared Ingles was first to act and opened by tossing in a 25,000-chip and announcing 'raise'.

Action folded to Victor Ramdin in the cutoff and he announced pot before he moved his stack worth 66,000 forward. The button and blinds folded and Ingles tanked for a bit before he called.

"Ow, you have me in bad shape," Ingles said.

The board, however, favored Ingles as it came and Ingles pointed to his queen and five as Ramdin realized it was all over for him.

"Are you kidding me?" Ramdin said with a wry smile, not sounding too bewildered.

The remaining players are guaranteed $11,596 from here on out.

Bambrick Leads Final 13 Players in Event #30: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha

Out of the 799 players who took to the felt in pursuit of WSOP gold in Event #30: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha, just 13 remain in contention. Each player is guaranteed a payday of at least $9,173, but all eyes are on the top prize of $217,123.

Leading the way is Ryan Bambrick with 1,727,000 chips. Bambrick won a gigantic pot near the conclusion of Day 2 to eliminate Farid Jattin and become the first player to cross the 1,000,000-chip mark. In fact, Bambrick was the only player to bag a seven-figure stack at the day's end. The next largest stack belongs to Canada's Phil Riley (864,000).

Several familiar faces are still in the hunt; Victor Ramdin (84,000), and Lexy Gavin (80,000) will both return for Day 3 action, but they'll both have work to do, as they're the two shortest stacks by a fair margin. George Xu (180,000), who won this event in 2016, is the only bracelet winner remaining in the field after two-time bracelet winner Scott Clements busted in the final moments of Day 2 play.
