Christopher Roth Eliminated in 15th Place ($10,340)

Level 25 : 13,000/25,000, 0 ante
Christopher Roth
Christopher Roth

Mack Lee raised in middle position and Chris Roth defended his big blind. On the {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, Roth checked, Lee bet, Roth check-raised and Lee put in three bets. Roth chuckled, visibly not too happy with the three-bet, before calling.

The turn brought the {2-Hearts} and Roth's final chips went in the middle.

Chris Roth: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Mack Lee: {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

"You have a full house?" Roth asked just before showdown. It wasn't the case, and the American was drawing live both ways. The river, however, was the {9-Spades} and Roth was eliminated.

Matt Woodward Eliminated in 16th Place ($8,296)

Level 25 : 13,000/25,000, 0 ante
Matt Woodward
Matt Woodward

In a battle of the blinds, Matt Woodward eventually got his stack in against Danny Wong only to find himself on the rail shortly after. The remaining few chips were in after the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Spades} turn and Woodward turned over the {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for kings up and a flush draw.

Danny Wong in the small blind flipped over {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a full house and the blank {6-Spades} river reduced the field to the last 15 hopefuls. Woodward takes home $8,296 for his efforts.

Chris Bjorin Eliminated in 17th Place ($8,296)

Level 25 : 13,000/25,000, 0 ante
Chris Bjorin
Chris Bjorin

Four ways to the {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop, Chris Bjorin was already all in from the hijack and three further players were involved in Tammer Ilcaffas in the small blind, Danny Wong in the big blind and Kate Hoang in early position. Hoang bet and picked up a call by Ilcaffas to see the {2-Hearts} on the turn.

Ilcaffas checked once more and folded to a bet by Hoang, flashing pocket aces briefly.

Chris Bjorin: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}
Kate Hoang: {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts}

The {Q-Hearts} on the river was a blank and Bjorin was eliminated in 17th place for $8,296.

Daniel Buzgon Eliminated in 18th Place ($8,296)

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Daniel Buzgon
Daniel Buzgon

Shortly before the break, Daniel Buzgon's tournament came to an end against Matt Woodward. Short-stacked, Buzgon got his final few chips in the middle.

Daniel Buzgon: {A-}{Q-}{8-}{3-}
Matt Woodward: {A-}{K-}{9-}{3-}

The hands ran pretty similar in equity to start out, but it was Buzgon who took a big lead on the {A-}{8-}{3-} flop by flopping three pairs. The {10-} turn was safe for him but the {K-} on the river paired one of Woodwards better kickers.

Buzgon was off in 18th place and collected $8,296 as the other players went on break.

Robert Campbell Eliminated in 19th Place ($6,764)

Robert Campbell

Robert Campbell ended up all in and at risk with the {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and was called by Matt Woodward with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

The {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop brought the remainder of the chips in and Campbell was in prime shape to scoop the entire pot. The {10-Spades} turn changed nothing much, but the {K-Diamonds} river gave Woodward a winning flush to eliminate Campbell in 19th place.

Robert Coates Eliminated in 20th Place ($6,764)

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Robert Coates
Robert Coates

Chad Eveslage raised in middle position, Kate Hoang called on the button and Robert Coates defended his big blind. The flop was {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Spades} and Coates bet 20,000, leaving himself with 2,000 behind. Both Eveslage and Hoang called.

On the {2-Clubs} turn, Coates shoved his final 2,000 and Eveslage and Hoang called again.

The river was the {7-Diamonds} and Eveslage put in a big bet. Hoang raised and Eveslage called.

Robert Coates: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{8-Spades}
Kate Hoang: {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Chad Eveslage: {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Hoang held a straight as well as the nut low and took three-quarters of the pot. Eveslage picked up a quarter with his nut low, and Coates was eliminated.

Mike Wattel Eliminated in 21st Place ($6,764)

Mike Wattel
Mike Wattel

After bets already went in on the {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{J-Hearts} flop, James Pursley bet the {9-Spades} turn and Mike Wattel called all in for his last 23,000.

Mike Wattel: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
James Pursley: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Wattel was drawing live with his flush draw against Pursley's trip kings but the {J-Clubs} river wasn't the out he was looking for. Wattel, who captured a bracelet in the 10K Stud last year, finished in 21st place.

John Jenkins Eliminated in 22nd Place ($6,764)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
John Jenkins
John Jenkins

On an {8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} board, Mike Wattel was in the big blind and directly bet as soon as the turn landed. Daniel Buzgon took some time before sliding in a call in the cutoff, while John Jenkins instantly overcalled on the button.

On the {Q-Clubs}, Wattel directly fired again, Buzgon tank-called and Jenkins overcalled again without hesitation.

Wattel showed {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for tens and eights, as well as a made low. Buzgon tabled {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a higher two pair and Jenkins mucked to become the one chopped up.

Down to just 40,000, Jenkins got it in a few hands after against Robert Campbell.

John Jenkins: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Robert Campbell: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{7-Spades}

The {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop left Jenkins all but drawing dead for the high. He needed to make a low to escape with half but neither the {10-Clubs} turn nor {10-Spades} provided the lifeline, and Jenkins was off to the payout desk.

James Chen Eliminated in 23rd Place ($6,764)

James Chen

On the turn of a board {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, James Chen ended up all in and at risk against Tammer Ilcaffas.

James Chen: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Tammer Ilcaffas: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Chen was ahead with top set, but he was not guaranteed by any means to scoop the entire pot, as Ilcaffas had a gutshot and a redraw to the nut low. The {J-Diamonds} on the river gave him the winning straight, eliminating Chen in 23rd place for $6,764.

A short-stacked Rylen Sanehisa ended up all in and at risk out of the big blind with the {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} on the {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} turn and Christopher Roth on the button looked him up with the {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a full house.

"Give him a queen," Roth said in table chat, and instead the board completed with the {K-Clubs} on the river to send Sanehisa to the rail in 24th place.
