Jamison Doubles

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Gregory Jamison made it 70,000 on the button and Eli Elezra called in the small blind. Elezra put in extra 23,000 before the {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop landed on the felt and Jamison called all-in.

"I have a pair of fives," Elezra said, turning up {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

"I have everything else," Jamison laughed, showing {8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}. The turn was the {8-Clubs} and Jamison hit the wheel with the {A-Clubs} river, securing a double.

Pattinson Doubles Through Conrad

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

A three-way pot between Robert Campbell, Chris Conrad, and Dustin Pattinson saw 130,000 gathered in the middle with the board reading {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. Dustin Pattinson led with a pot bet and Campbell folded. Conrad called and the {k-Clubs} completed the board. Pattinson put the rest of his 117,000 in the middle and Conrad called.

Pattinson tabled {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} for a flush and a six-low and Conrad mucked.

Robert Campbell Eliminated in 12th Place ($13,429)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

While Mike Matusow and Kim Kallman were tangling in a three-bet pot on Table 418, Bruno Fitoussi eliminated Robert Campbell on the other table.

We picked up the action when the stacks were already pulled in and Campbell found out that Fitoussi had him slightly covered. Fitoussi apparently bet-called Campbell's all-in with the top set of queens on the turn and his hand remained the winner when the river card landed.

Campbell left his seat and the tournament is now one elimination away from the 10-handed unofficial final table.

Yockey and Conrad Chop a Big One

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Chris Conrad opened to 40,000 on the button and called a three-bet to 160,000 from Bryce Yockey in the small blind. The flop came down {4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Yockey bet the pot, totaling 340,000. Conrad raised all in for slightly more and Yockey called.

Chris Conrad: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Bryce Yockey: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{5-Spades} and the two chopped it up,

Jamison Scoops a Double with Ace-King High

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Mike Matusow made it 60,000 on the button and big blind Gregory Jamison pushed all his chips. It was 176,000 total and Matusow took about half a minute contemplating but eventually called. His table-mates laughed when they saw that he didn't snap with {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}.

Matusow was up against {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and the {Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs} flop wasn't looking good for him. The {6-Spades} opened a low draw and a flush draw for Matusow but he bricked it all on the {9-Hearts} river and Jamison scooped the pot with ace-king high.

Matusow Wins First Pot of the Day

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Mike Matusow has been understandably frustrated with the early stages of Day 3. According to the four-time bracelet winner, who recently lost a big chunk to tablemate Greg Jamison, he had not won a single pot since play resumed.

Matusow opened to 75,000 without much behind and Eli Elezra called out if the big blind. The flop fanned out {4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Elezra bet enough to put Matusow at risk. Matusow put his remaining 64,000 in the middle and the cards were tabled.

Eli Elezra: {q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Mike Matusow: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Matusow scooped to double up.

Gamble Can't Peel Good Flops

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Nathan Gamble opened to 48,000 under the gun and Kim Kallman re-raised to 154,000 out of the big blind. Gamble called and they continued to the {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop. Gamble had 231,000 left and Kallman announced a pot-sized bet, forcing a fold from the defending champion.

The next hand saw Gamble raise to 60,000 in the big blind when Kallman completed in the small. Kallman called and then fired the max again with the flop reading {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{K-Clubs}. Gamble let his hand go.

Chris Conrad bet 75,000 after the turn card fell on a {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts} board and Bryce Yockey made the call. The {q-Spades} hit the river and Conrad bet pot, a wager worth 258,000 and Yockey went into the tank.

Yockey alerted the table he would need a few minutes and eventually made the call. Conrad tabled the {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Yockey mucked, surrendering a massive pot to Conrad.

Yockey was left with 273,000 and got it in a few hands later and busted in 11th place.
