Schwartz Straightens Snow

Level 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

There were 1,050 chips in the pot and the {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop was out when we got to the table. Ylon Schwartz bet 300 from the small blind and Alan Snow called from the big.

The {4-Clubs} fell on the turn and Schwartz bet 1,000. Snow called.

The river brought the {5-Hearts} and Schwartz bet again, 2,000 this time. Snow called, Schwartz flipped over {J-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a rivered nine-high straight, and Snow mucked.

''You Got It, You Got it''

Level 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

The player under the gun opened to 300. Action folded to William Kassouf, in middle position, who raised to 800. Robert Georato, in the big blind, and the original raiser called.

A flop of {4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{q-Spades} was dealt. Georato and the original raiser checked. Kassouf bet 2,000. Georato raised to 4,000. The original raiser folded. Kassouf called.

The turn brought the {8-Hearts}. Georato checked. ''Oh now you slow down huh? You're gonna min-raise? You missed a flush draw?'' Kassouf asked. ''Ok, we won't make it too much, but we won't make it too small cause he might min-raise me,'' the British added.

A couple of seconds of silence later, Kassouf started again: ''Tell me what you got. Be honest. I got a straight. We can get it all in for the blog. In the words of Will Kassouf: you got it, you got it'' he added, before shoving for 14,500. His opponent quickly called.

''Set'' said Georato turning over {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. Kassouf showed {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. The {a-Diamonds} river completed the board and the talkative British headed to the exit commenting ''Cooler!''

With about 5,000 chips in the middle and the board reading {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, a player in early position checked, another in middle position bet 3,500, Eric Baldwin called from the button, and the early-position player folded.

The turn brought the {A-Hearts} and the middle-position player checked. Baldwin bet 5,000, his opponent check-raised all-in for about 15,000, and Baldwin called with a covering stack.

Eric Baldwin: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

Baldwin had the best of it with top two pair and his opponent needed to spike a king or queen on the river to survive. The final card was the {10-Spades} and Baldwin took the pot to stack his opponent.
