Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The action folded to Bryan Ngo in the small blind and he moved all in for 54,000. The big blind snapped called turning over {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and Ngo would need to improve holding {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Tom McEvoy
Tom McEvoy

Mark Zullo opened in late position to 25,000 and Joey Fabre called next to act in the hijack. With the action on 1983 WSOP Main Event Champion Tom McEvoy in the cutoff, he moved all in for 70,000.

Zullo called, as did Fabre, and when the flop landed {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}, Zullo bet 50,000 and Fabre folded.

Zullo: {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}
McEvoy: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}

McEvoy was at risk, but in the lead, and when the turn and river landed the {5-Clubs} and {7-Clubs}, he tripled to over 230,000 in chips.

Collopy Sent to the Rail by Radzivonau

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Jim Collopy
Jim Collopy

According to Kiryl Radzivonau all the money got in preflop between him and Jim Collopy. The two were sitting with exactly the same sized stack of 354,000.

Jim Collopy: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Kiryl Radzivonau: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and that gave Radzivonau aces and fives with a king kicker, which was just enough to eliminate Collopy from the tournament.

Henson Trying to Rebuild

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Ray Henson was all in from the big blind with {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} when we got to his table, for about 60,000. His opponent in the small blind was dominated with {j-Spades}{8-Spades} and the board ran out {10-Clubs}{k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a Henson double.

Henson said he was crippled before the break when his {q-}{q-} was cracked by the same player's {j-}{j-}.

Ziskin Spikes an Ace on the River

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

A player in late position raised to 22,000 and Moe Farah re-raised to 55,000 from the hijack. With the action on Alexander Ziskin in the cutoff he slid out a stack of 140,000. It folded back to Farah and they went heads up to the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop.

Farah checked and Ziskin continued with a bet of 125,000. Farah called and both players checked when the {3-Diamonds} hit the turn. The river was the {a-Diamonds} and again both players knuckled the felt.

Farah turned over {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} but Ziskin showed {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} to take the pot.

McVay and Merrilees Chop

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The action folded To Bryce McVay in the small blind, and he completed. From the big blind, Daniel Merrilees raised to 40,000, and McVay called.

The flop landed {8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs} and McVay checked to Merrilees who bet 30,000. McVay called, and then both players checked the {K-Clubs} on the turn.

The river landed the {Q-Diamonds}, and after McVay checked, Merrilees bet 100,000. McVay called and tabled his {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} as Merrilees tabled his {A-Spades}{5-Diamonds} to see the pot chopped up.
