Bleznick Takes a Little One

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Action checked to Jared Bleznick on a flop of {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and he put out a bet of 17,000. Action folded around to the big blind where Timothy Little called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {2-Hearts} hit the river. There, Little led out with a bet of 27,000. Bleznick decided to just call.

Little showed down his {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for just top pair, but Bleznick had him beat with {4-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a straight. He took down the pot and moved to right around 850,000 chips.

Vitantonio's Stack Gets Chopped Up

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Over on the outer table, Peter Vitantonio moved all in for 112,000 in late position and William Murray reshoved for slightly more from the cutoff. Arden Cho in the big blind called to put both players at risk.

Peter Vitantonio: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
William Murray: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Arden Cho: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop improved Murray and Cho, also providing a backdoor flush draw for each, while the {6-Spades} turn and {9-Hearts} river were blanks to eliminate Vitantonio and chop up his stack evenly between Murray and Cho.

Prior to this, Shi Chen had been eliminated from the very same table and replaced by Josh Pollock.

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Marc-Etienne McLaughlin opened to 13,000 from the hijack and was called by the cutoff and Ludovic Geilich in the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Geilich checked to McLaughlin who continued for 18,000. The cutoff folded but Geilich made the call.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and both players checked to the {8-Hearts} on the river. Geilich thought for a minute and then pushed in a bet of 27,000. McLaughlin wasted little time before sending his cards to the muck and the pot to Geilich.

The dealer spread the {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop and Ben improved to middle set leaving Laplante drawing to only a chop. The turn {k-Spades} and river {7-Spades} improved Ben to a full house and Laplante was eliminated.

Cheung Takes From Trudeau

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Catching the action on a flop of {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} Park Yu 'Sparrow' Cheung was first to act from the blinds. He checked it to Jeff Trudeau, his only opponent, and Trudeau checked back.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and Cheung opted to bet, making it 25,000. Trudeau called and the two headed to the river.

On the {J-Spades} river, Cheung put out another bet, this time for 40,000. Trudeau called but mucked when Cheung showed {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for three nines and that allowed him to take down the pot.
