On the Bubble

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

We are on the bubble now, and playing hand for hand. The clock is paused, and with the next elmination, everyone left will be in the money.

Treolo's Bubble Period Profitable

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

John Treolo made a comeback from a two big bet stack to around 44,000 - all on the bubble. That first hand - aces full - brought him back from the brink (to 14,000). Then a big three-way pot saw him all in on fifth street against two opponents, having three-bet on third and signalled his commitment to the hand. The others checked the remaining streets to get to showdown.

Treolo: {x-}{x-}/{k-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}/{x-}
Barry Greenstein: {x-}{x-}/{k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}/{x-}
Frank Labate: {x-}{x-}/{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{q-Hearts}/{x-}

Treolo showed a second six and king in the hole for two pair. Greenstein mucked and Labate couldn't find a fifth heart for the flush.

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Timothy Frazin has knocked out a player in 44th place, and this event has hit the money!

Opponent: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}/{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}/{7-Clubs}
Timothy Frazin: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}/{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{q-Spades}{a-Diamonds}/{10-Hearts}

The last of the chips went in on sixth street, and Frazin turned over the broadway straight {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs} to best his opponent's {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.

All remaining players will score at least a min-cash of $2,262.

Pawel Andrzejewski
Pawel Andrzejewski

Pawel Andrzejewski has been moved to an aggressive table of deep stacks, but recently won a pot before seventh street against Joshua Mountain and Ludovic Geilich.
