Jennifer Tilly Eliminated

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante
Jennifer Tilly
Jennifer Tilly

Trey Brabham raised to 55,000 from under-the-gun, and was called by Marc Rijnbeek in middle position and Jennifer Tilly in her big blind. After Tilly checked the {5-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop, Brabham continued for 105,000 and Rijnbeek folded. Tilly then responded with a check-shove all in and was snap-called by Brabham.

Tilly tabled {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for two pair, but was behind the better two pair of Brabham, who was holding {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. The {6-Spades} turn and {4-Diamonds} river were of no help to Tilly, sending the bracelet- and Oscar-winning actress to the payout line.

Wolf Makes Broadway in a Three-Way Pot

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Ronald Peterson was one of the short stacks coming back from the break and he wasted little time before moving all of his 140,000 chips into the middle from early position. Tomer Wolf called on his left as did Yin Liu in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and the action checked through to the {j-Hearts} on the turn and the {10-Hearts} on the river. Liu checked one more time and Wolf announced all in. Liu quickly folded and the remaining two hands were tabled.

Wolf turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a rivered straight while Peterson headed to the payout desk after showing {a-Spades}{4-Spades}.

Ace from Space Sends Wyvill to the Rail

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Stefan Caffier opened to 65,000 in the hijack and Wesley Wyvill three-bet shoved all in for 310,000 in the cutoff. The button and blinds folded and the Caffier thought for a minute before making the call.

Stefan Caffier: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Wesley Wyvill: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} to give Caffier a straight draw to go along with his one overcard. The {4-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and the {a-Hearts} hit the felt on the river. Caffier rivered a larger two pair and Wyvill waited for his payout.

Gangaiah Stands Up Then Sits Down

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Paawan Bansal raised to 65,000, Jayachandra Gangaiah then re-raised all in from the next seat over, which was followed by another all in shove from Stephen Hart. Action folded back around to Bansal, and he snap-called, having both players easily covered. Gangaiah had a bigger stack than Hart, so a side pot of 190,000 was created and all players tabled their hands.

Stephen Hart: {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Jayachandra Gangaiah: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Paawan Bansal: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

Hart had started collecting his belongings once the hands were tabled, but Gangaiah stayed seated through the {4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} board, at which time he got up from his chair, only to sit back down when the dealer fanned the {q-Diamonds} on the river, sending him both the main and side pots.

Del Vecchio Soaring Up the Leaderboard

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Michael Del Vecchio just finished doubling up one player at his table who had pocket aces but wasted no time in getting all of those chips back plus more. Sven Reichardt shipped all in for 305,000 in middle position and Del Vecchio quickly called from the big blind.

Michael Del Vecchio: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Sven Reichardt: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

The flop fell {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Del Vecchio pulled ahead with a pair of queens. The {10-Hearts} on the turn and the {6-Hearts} on the river were no help to Reichardt and Del Vecchio pulled in another healthy pot.
