Cohen Finds a Double Through Flemming

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Sam Cohen raised to 5,100 from the button and Lee Flemming three-bet to 23,500 in the small blind. The big blind folded to Cohen who made the call.

The flop came {6-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Flemming continued with a bet of 13,000. Cohen quickly shoved and Flemming asked for a count. Cohen confirmed she had 65,400 behind. Fleming counted out calling chips but considered his options for a bit longer before actually making the call in the end with the bigger stack.

Sam Cohen: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Lee Flemming: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

Cohen had flopped a pair of tens while Flemming had high cards in his hand.

The rest of the board was completed with the {j-Diamonds} on the turn which gave Flemming a gutshot to Broadway but the river completed the board with the {3-Clubs} for Cohen to stay alive and double up.

Unfortunately, Joseph Brumpacheco, Saya Ono, and 2018 Main Event eighth-place finisher, Artem Metalidi, weren't that lucky as they were eliminated on one of the other tables.
