Stop and Go Works for Madsen

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded to a player in the cutoff who opened to 10,000. The players on the button and in the small blind folded and Jeff Madsen defended his big blind. The flop came {6-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Madsen went all in for around 38,000. After about ten seconds, his opponent lifed his cards up to show them to the table as he folded his hand.

"What did you show?" asked Madsen. He was told it was {a-Spades}{5-Spades}. Madsen then looked back at his cards and while doing so, his opponent asked him to show what he had. He happily obliged, tabling {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a flush draw. His opponent told him that was a nice hand and that he would take Madsen's over his own in that situation as well.

Sabat Finds Double

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Eddy Sabat
Eddy Sabat

Eddy Sabat shoved all in from middle position for 55,500 and the player on the cutoff reraised to around 120,000, prompting everybody left behind him to fold and making it time to run the cards.

Eddy Sabat: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop was trouble for Sabat but he was in luck as the turn came {a-Clubs}. The river fell {8-Hearts} and Sabat remained safe and earned the double.

Pantaleo's River Shove Gets Fold From Bansal

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Giuseppe Pantaleo
Giuseppe Pantaleo

In a large pot of over 225,000 in the middle, Pawaan Bansal was contemplating a river shove of near 200,000 from overnight chipleader Giuseppe Pantaleo. The board read {8-Spades}{a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Pantaleo sat motionless as Bansal thought it over for about a minute before eventually deciding to fold.

Pantaleo pushed his cards toward the muck but before releasing them, Bansal coaxed him to show "I'll be honest and tell you what I had" said Bansal. Pantaleo briefly flashed ace-queen for top two pair and Bansal said that he had had ace-king.

"How could you fold?" asked Pantaleo with a smile as he hauled in a nice pot for his large stack.

Deeb Raises Out Kim

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

On a board that read {3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades} Wan Kim bet about 85,000 over to Shaun Deeb.

Deeb thought it over for a few moments before announcing all in. Kim went deep into the tank to consider it as it was for his tournament life. He played with his chips for about two minutes before laying it down and sending the pot over to Deeb.
