Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action folded to Shaun Deeb, who opened to 24,000 from the cutoff. The cutoff folded and Eddy Sabat shoved all in. Both players in the blinds folded and Deeb asked for a count, which was totaled at 138,000. After about 35 seconds, Deeb let his hand go and Sabat took down the pot.

Song's Crescendo

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Stephen Song (in a previous event)
Stephen Song (in a previous event)

On a flop that read {j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs} Stephen Song bet into his opponent who thought a moment before raising all in. Song made a slight grimace but put in the chips for the call and he was ahead when he turned over the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} up against {7-}{7-} of his opponent.

The turn {5-Hearts} and river {5-Diamonds} kept the jacks ahead and gave Song yet another large pot as his stack continues to augment.

Sklar Doubles With Sevens

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

A player in middle position opened with a raise to 27,000 and Randal Sklar three-bet all in from the hijack. Action folded back to the original raiser, who asked for the 27,000 to be raked in. After doing so, he saw that Sklar had 107,000 behind and made the call.

Randal Sklar: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Opponent: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}

The board ran out {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Sklar was able to hold and double up.

Hellmuth Doubles

Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth moved all in from early position and found a caller. He held the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} against the {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

The board stayed safe for the tens when it ran out {q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} to give Hellmuth a much needed double up. But he remains a short stack fighting for his tournament life.
