Biography

Pete Chen, known in his home country of Taiwan as Chen Yen Han, is Natural8 Ambassador. During his career he has won a WSOP bracelet and WPT title.

Poker Achievements

After playing in Macau during the early parts of his career, winning the 2014 PokerStars Asia Player of the Year (POY) Award, Chen cashed in the WSOP for the first time in 2015. More success followed across Asia, as well as in Europe on the European Poker Tour.

In 2017, he final-tabled the PokerStars Championship Macau Main Event, finishing sixth for $90,711. He followed that up by winning WPT Beijing Main Event in April for his first major win, taking home $299,485.

Later that year he secured the biggest cash of his career, finishing second in Event #56: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em for $382,122.

A keen traveller, Chen has cashed all over the world, winning titles in the Philippines, Spain, South Korea and Taiwan.

During the coronavirus pandemic, Chen won a WSOP bracelet in Online Event #3: WSOP.com No-Limit Hold'em Ultra Deepstack. Chen defeated Mexico's Tzur "Selvastar7" Levy heads-up and took home $82,559 for his efforts.
