[Removed:349] Hits 2 Million

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Patrick [Removed:349] just pushed to two million chips after scooping a huge three-way all-in pot.

Patrick [Removed:349]: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Jeffrey Eldred: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Kevin O'Donnell: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The dealer sorted out the chips with the board showing {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. With some accounting assistance from Barry Greenstein, a bystander at the table for this hand, a massive pile went [Removed:349]'s way, and he joins the two-million chip club as we play through Level 23.

Monster Pot Boosts Borgia, Busts Moore

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante
Mehrdad Yousefzadeh
Mehrdad Yousefzadeh

Three-way to a flop of {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, action took off, with three players - none of them super-short stacked - punting every chip they had into the pot. The largest effective stack was that of big blind Anthony Borgia (869,000) who covered button Michael Moore and was covered in turn by late position raiser Mehrdad Yousefzadeh.

Moore: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for the nut flush draw
Yousefzadeh: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Borgia: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

Borgia's flopped set faded diamonds and the single ace left in the deck, the board completing with {8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}; this huge pot puts him amongst the current chip leaders.

Table Ramdin Likes a Three-Bet

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Every pot on Victor Ramdin's table seems to be raised twice before anyone can see a flop, which often they don't.

One example came when Ramdin raised to 62,000, Roger Stewart three-bet to 150,000, the button cold called and Ramdin folded. Stewart took the pot with a bet of 200,000 on the {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop.

"Show the bluff, it's good for the game!" demanded Ramdin, adding, confusingly, "Kings!"

In the next hand, Allan Rosen opened for 80,000 on the button and called big blind Marc Wolpert's three-bet to 205,000. Wolpert moved all in for his remaining 480,000 as soon as the {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop came down, winning the pot there and then.

Goldstein Gets Another Knockout

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kenneth Goldstein: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Eben Kurtzman: {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Scott Allacher: {x-}{x-}

Eben Kurtzman went all-in preflop for the rest of his short stack, with Kenneth Goldstein and Scott Allacher continuing to the flop for a side pot.

The flop came {8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and the action checked through. The turn came the {5-Clubs}, Goldstein bet and Allacher folded. Kurtzman and Goldstein turned their hands up, and Kurtzman called for a three to come on the river, but it fell {4-Clubs}.

Six Million for Mash

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Howard Mash
Howard Mash

Howard Mash has just taken outright possession of the chip lead, busting out Kenneth Goldstein and another opponent in consecutive hands.

Mash said the first hand involved his {a-}{a-} against Goldstein's {q-}{q-}, taking all of Goldstein's 1.6 million chips.

On the next hand, Mash got to the flop with {6-}{6-} and the board came out {q-}{j-Spades}{6-Spades}. Goldstein and his opponent went back and forth with raises on the flop until all of the opponent's chips were in, and the at-risk player showed {a-Spades}{9-Spades}. The flush came in on the river, but so did the full house for Mash with the {q-Spades}.

Mash now sits at 6,000,000 as Day 3 approaches the end of Level 24.

Ulman Spikes a Stack-Saving Ace

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Joseph Ulman, having dropped dramatically in chips recently, has been all in and at risk - and survived. He moved all in under the gun for 309,000; a mid-position Keith Littlewood flat called. On their backs:

Littlewood: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Ulman: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The flop was an overpair-safe, low and rainbow {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades} but the turn was the {a-Diamonds}, river {3-Hearts}. Ulman doubled and Littlewood dropped to 1,120,000. Those chips went all-in as an open shove the very next hand, but found no callers.

Chip counts include the whole table.
