Steven Tabb Eliminated in 9th Place ($10,037)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Steven Tabb
Steven Tabb

Steven Tabb opened from the cutoff and was called by Hope Williams, who defended her big blind. Both players drew one and WIlliams check-called a continuation-bet from Tabb. Williams then drew one and Tabb stood pat with Williams checking to Tabb. Tabb bet again, leaving himself around 15,000 behind. Williams made the call and final draws again went one and pat.

On the end, Williams bet and put Tabb at a decision for the remainder of his chips. He thought about it for about 20 seconds, looking down at the last chips in his hand before moving his arm forward and setting them down on the felt in front of him.

Tabb tabled {10-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}.

"Eight," said Williams as she turned over {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}, good for the pot and the knockout as Tabb was eliminated from the tournament.

Hope Williams Eliminated in 8th Place ($13,593)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Hope Williams
Hope Williams

Robert Campbell raised from the button and Hope Williams put in a three-bet from the small blind. With action on David Bach in the big blind, he asked to see Williams' stack and announced four bets, putting in 80,000. Campbell quickly folded and Williams capped it with a fifth bet, leaving 6,000 behind. Bach called and the first draw went three and one. Williams put in her last 6,000 and Bach called and the next two draws both went one and pat.

Bach tabled {8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-} and Williams exclaimed she was drawing dead, turning over {10-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and then flipping over the meaningless {9-} to complete her hand as she wished Bach a nice hand and was eliminated from the tournament.

With seven left, the remaining players are racking up their chips and moving to the second featured table as the unofficial final table is set to begin shortly.

Hampton Wins Huge Pot With Wheel

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Jesse Hampton
Jesse Hampton

Hanh Tran opened from middle position and was three-bet by Jared Bleznick in the cutoff. Jesse Hampton cold-called from the big blind and Tran put in a fourth bet. Both Bleznick and Hampton called. The first and second draws both went one, pat, one with Tran betting and being called by both players upon being checked to. The final draw again went one, pat, one and Hampton led out on the end. Tran called and Bleznick looked at his hand and shook his head before folding.

Hampton tabled {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Hanh shook his head in disbelief as he had been dealt a pat eight that was no longer any good.

Hanh Tran Eliminated in 7th Place ($13,593)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Hanh Tran
Hanh Tran

Aron Dermer opened with a raise from the hijack and action folded to Hanh Tran in the big blind, who called all in for around his last 43,000. Tran drew two and Dermer one on the first draw. On the second and third draws, Tran drew one and Dermer stood pat.

Aron Dermer: {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}
Hanh Tran: {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-} / {8-}

Tran was in need of a deuce and only a deuce to improve to a wheel and stay alive. Unfortunately for him, his run at back-to-back titles fell short as he turned over an eight and made an eighty-seven, not good enough to best Dermer's eighty-five.

Campbell Caught Bluffing

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
David Bach
David Bach

Jesse Hampton raised it up from the button and he was called by Robert Campbell in the small blind. David Bach in the big blind made it three bets and both his opponents called. Bach stood pat while both Hampton and Campbell took two. Bach bet and two calls followed.

On the second draw, Campbell took one, Bach remained pat and Hampton took two again. Bach bet, rinse and repeat as Hampton and Campbell called.

The final draw saw Campbell and Hampton take one and Bach was on pat, still. Campbell now bet and Bach reluctantly called, Hampton folded.

Campbell rolled over a six-high straight for a bluff and Bach won the significant pot with {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}.

Jared Bleznick
Jared Bleznick

Robert Campbell opened the action with a raise from the cutoff and received calls from Jared Bleznick in the small blind and Aron Dermer in the big blind. All three players drew two and Bleznick led out after the draw. Dermer folded and Campbell called, going heads up to the second draw of one and two. Bleznick led out again and Campbell called.

On the final draw, Bleznick took one and Campbell stood pat and Bleznick fired for a third time. Campbell made the call.

Bleznick turned over his hand and fanned out a {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}, good for a wheel and the pot as Campbell sent his cards to the muck.

Aron Dermer
Aron Dermer

The stack of Aron Dermer was reduced to just 100,000 and he raised, which left 20,000 behind. Robert Campbell three-bet in the small blind and Dermer called all in.

Both took one card on the first draw and Campbell patted. Dermer double-checked with the dealer that Campbell had indeed stood pat and did the same. Both remained patted on the final draw and Campbell rolled over {8-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. Dermer only had {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-} and was sent to the rail in 6th place for $18,875.

Jesse Hampton raised first to act and was called by David Bach on the button. Bach drew two and Hampton took one new card.

Hampton bet with 5,000 behind and Bach called. Once again Hampton took one and Bach received two new cards.

Hampton moved all in and the call of Bach followed.

Bach stood pat and Hampton took one new card.

David Bach: {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}
Jesse Hampton: {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-} / {8-}

"You made it?" Hampton sighed as Bach rolled over his cards and the eight he peeled was no good, sending him to the rail in 5th place for $26,855.

Kyle Miaso
Kyle Miaso

Robert Campbell opened from the cutoff and action folded around to Kyle Miaso, who defended his big blind. Both players drew two and Miaso check-called Campbell's continuation-bet. On the second draw, Miaso again drew two and Campbell took one. Miaso then checked. Campbell bet and Miaso called all in for less, 50,000. Both players stood pat on the final draw and it was time for showdown.

Kyle Miaso: {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}
Robert Campbell: {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}

Miaso had drawn to an eight-perfect on the second draw but it was no match to Campbell's seventy-six and he was eliminated from the tournament after two-plus long days battling on the felt.
